Spectacular. Believe it or not this can also be done with Microsoft PowerPoint and Publisher. The beauty of these fractal designs is truly extraordinary in their relative simplicity.

Hey Rich. Me again. I've been paying with this and found I can change the stroke colour as you go. Clicking on the stroke colour wheel very close to the previous point gives a smooth colour change through the pattern. Change the colour after a few duplications to get the effect.

Great vid...Ive never thought of reducing the size as it duplicates..Looks ace..!! heres one for you to try... Once shape is done, select everything with the move tool so all highlighted, then use the fill tool to give a gradient across the pattern, and select your colours of choice.....then hit 3 on the keypad to reduce the opacity across the image....then deselect and remove any strokes...looks awesome ro me, almost like those old adobe logos with the faded gradient runing across the design..

Great stuff Rich. I notice that you invariably reduce the size of your starting shape. I've been playing with circles and find increasing the size produces some very interesting results.

Excellent tutorial. Any ideas of how you could also ramp down the transparency between the copied layers to produce a fade effect other than setting each one in turn afterwards? Would another option be to create a macro because Affinity seems to be able to handle math? I reckon that could be cool.

Digitally Fearless it was just a request, no specific photo I have, just how you approach dark or shadows in face photos. I do see photos where glare or reflections are noticeable in photo. Always interested in others knowledge in Affinity Photo.
