What a wonderful story! I totally understand liking the cold. We got married on August 1st and I HATE the heat & humidity. Turned out to be a gorgeous dry day with a blue sky and white puffy clouds. The day I had my formal portrait taken, May 23rd (our original wedding date that we changed, thank God!) was 100 and extremely humid. Thankfully the photographer's studio was air conditioned. I also had a long sleeved taffeda brocade dress, thankfully the weather was amazing that day in August. Your story is one of a wonderful friendship, turned to love and 26 years together so far. May you have many wonderful years ahead of you both. We made it to 52 years.

What a sweet story. We have something in common. My husband and I also became good friends too, before we realized that our relationship had turned into something more special. We also got married in January of 1981 in Camp Hill, PA. We just celebrated 41yrs. married. However, the year we got married, we ended up moving to Wisconsin, where we still live today. We still visit PA when we can, because our extended families still live there, from Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Harrisburg to York and Lancaster areas. I’m fact on our last visit there in October we ran into Andrew, Jocelyn’s boyfriend. I’d like to wish you and your husband many, many more years of love and happiness.❤️🍾🥂💐

I live in Alaska! I was born in Homer, raised in Talkeetna, and I have lived most of my adult years in the big city of Anchorage. I absolutely love our mountain ranges and the fields of wildflowers we get in the summertime! I adore your family Dagny! You guys are loads of fun and your sense of humor never fails to give me at least a chuckle or two! The fact that the both of you had to travel so very far in order to bump into each other shows that you were definitely meant to be together! I've been visiting my grandchildren in north Texas and feel so far behind because I have not been watching! So fun to hear your story!! I watched this whole video and don't know what college you attended... I went to Bloomsburg for undergrad and IUP for grad school and don't miss driving in the snow! We had an inch and a half this week and it stopped the world for two days. 20 degrees means the type of outerwear little ones may not have, so lots of layered wind breakers and aweatshirts, and plastic grocery bags over sneakers have to do the job.
