My mechanics shop gave me an estimate for a “simple” repair that included 4 1/2 hours of labor. I found someone else to do it in 35 minutes flat. And I got to watch and help. I can do that job myself now. We are so let to believe only a professional can do many jobs when in reality it’s the simple stuff that makes them money and the difficult stuff only comes around once in a while (so sorry it takes us 10 days to fix that, it’s a big job - we do when we don’t have oil and break service cars to make us profits.). Loads of stuff we can do ourself.

But, I did with yours. Your videos, they way you film them, the way you manage to "paint" the everyday life of yours, the way your videos carry a important , yet subtle "life messages".. It all leaves a big positive spiritual impact on my life. I watch your videos everyday ( especially before sleep) and Im always glad when I see that you uploaded a new video. Don't ever stop doing this my man. There are people, like myself, who support you fully in this adventure of yours, and who are really enjoying your content. Living in West Germany, I enjoy those videos. Here we never get snow and we have no mountains, but I love both. Also those videos are so relaxing because they give you the impression that you are around there only with your buddy, enjoying the silence of the distant nature - which is almost impossible here, where I live is the heaviest populated area of whole Germany, lots of freeways, cars and people everywhere, it's even one of the heaviest populated areas of whole Europe. I can't express how much I love going to lost places, where there is nobody. Which is why those videos are a big pleasure to me.

Marc Fuchs growing up in northern Germany, we had plenty of snow. I guess climate change is hitting you hard. But you are in luck. You hold the key to your future. Downsize. Pack up. And go. Plenty of areas with lower population density. The world is your oyster - but only if you are willing to adapt. Good luck.

@@4philipp Wise words. And that's basically what I'm planning to do. I have big plans and currently working hard on them. There is very different weather in different areas of Germany. Like 100 to 200 miles away from my spot, there is far less people and much of snow. I wanna move to Munich. Beautiful city, and once you leave the boundaries of it, open land and lovely landscapes.
@4philipp
@4philipp 4 жыл бұрын
Marc Fuchs awesome. Love seeing people take action. It’s the only way to make change happen. München itself, as I understand it is expensive. But I don’t know about the rest of Bavaria. Certainly different climate and scenery. By personal choice was moving to USA. But even here, stuck in NYC for way too long and now working on moving to a rural retreat. It will be a 2 hour drive to the next OBI

@@4philipp Nice, I am a fan of tze US too and plan to possibly live there some day too - but after my serious business here has gotten finished, which will still be a few years. And then also the money sits easy. But the US is not guaranteed to me, depending on new President and how tze country evolves and which changes to come with a new President. Otherwise, Norway if very appealing. I love nature, and Scandinavia is the way to go there.

Man you are still carrying that pole you found like a year ago? Impressive like the ribs and that nice shot of the buck you got too. Can you imagine what you could do in something the size of a Promaster? LOL.

I am obsessed with your cooking videos. You are more creative in your van than I am with a kitchen full of everything. Looking forward to more food vids. Keep it up!

@@svenjohnson2389 that would take up a lot of power I think, I was thinking something like that or an air fryer. But even that takes up quite a bit of energy too.

fixed a wheel bearing, slow cooking with forestry forest, hit the trail, climbed a mountain, chopped wood, started a fire, ate the meal and played a video game..... all in 6 and a half minutes! I felt cheated it was so short so I watched it twice. I enjoy the channel, thanks.

OMG I started drooling when I saw those ribs going on the fire pit 🔥!!! I bet they tasted sooooo good being slow cooked so gently to preserve the juicyness then BAM right on the grill to sear them totally to perfection. I must, I have to, I need to. I can no longer resist this longing urge to finally take the plunge. I will set out on a journey tomorrow. No, I will not be hiking along paths in the great outdoors or climbing any mountains, nor going for a ride on a fat bike, or buying a mousetrap. I will be off on a great adventure to Wallymart to get me one of the finest slow cookers I can find. And....a pint of Ben and Jerry's to put on top of my tire near the wheel well for a well chilled dessert.
