I see why he looks up to Ronaldo, and his trajectory has the possibility of being similar. Erling Haaland was a known prodigy since he was 11-12, everyone knew one day he'd do great things, same with Messi. However, Hojlund's true potential wasn't noticed until much later 16-17, and still the concept of joining a club like United was not likely. But he trained hard, and his game quickly improved, and over the last 3 years his potential has been recognized, much like Ronaldo at Sporting. He orchestrated his move to United masterfully, cause he believed in himself. Hopefully he keeps it going and lives up to his potential. But with that kind of mentality, I'm sure he will.

Great summery, but it could have been mentioned that he moved from FC Copenhagen, not because of good preformances, but because Danish National player Andreas Cornelius and younger talent Orri Oskarsson from Iceland was prefered in front of Rasmus for the center forward position.

This is not true (2:50). He was not used in Copenhagen because he didn't perform well enough compared to other team mates. He also was not considered to be a top talent, rather Copenhagen sold him to get something out of him at the least.

Im a huge Copenhagen fan, and if u watched the games with Højlund, u would know that he performed very poorly everytime he got playing time, unlike the other strikers at the time. Højlund was then sold for moneyreasons, and got a breakthrough at the new club Sturm Graz, and later Atalanta.

Sorry... You are probably not a journalist, but a lot of the things in this video is untrue. Im sure google andmaybe google translate is the reason, so no hard feelings. Next time you make a video like this, you shuould talk to someone who knows the player you would like to describe. Actually Rasmus didnt play for Brøndby - he has never signed for them. He niether played that well at FC København,(Not many recogniser his talent there) but did get his contract in Austria :) And did well there! The rest is history Atalanta --> United

Nice video, but the thing with footballers these days... all of them way too OVERHYPED. After Messi and Ronaldo I have not seen any real outstanding footballers. Haaland, Bellingham, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Valverde are performing though.
