Not to mention the unique language of the island - Soqotri, which is as far from Arabic as Ge'ez is - and its rich heritage of oral literature. The language's use is falling away. @@Zaabi Apparently you guys. "...the UAE offered to reopen the Sheikh Zayed Hospital in the Somali capital Mogadishu on the condition Somalia take part in the war in Yemen, while officially claiming the Socotra archipelago as Somali territory." I am glad that the offer was refused as we respect Yemen's sovereignty. Unlike the UAE who funds Al-Shabaab and other terrorist organizations and plays a role in keeping countries destabilized and in turmoil (Libya, Yemen, Syria, Somalia to name a few). may the UAE regime collapse inshallah.

So, the Little Bay Islands video that was uploaded to the Wendover Productions channel was uploaded as a 21:9 video. Meaning that, for the people with 21:9 phones and monitors, the video filled the screen, while for those with 16:9 phones and monitors, the cinematic black bars are introduced to the top and bottom of the video. The fact that KZfaq can natively, properly handle 21:9 is great, but it is little known, so I was excited to see you upload a 21:9 edited video IN 21:9 aspect ratio, making use of it. However, all three uploads here, *including the upload of the Little Bay Islands video*, are 16:9. This reduces resolution by wasting the pixels that are outside the videos 21:9 content, but inside the 16:9 file uploaded. It also means black bars on all four sides of a disappointingly small display window. Two Questions: Why are the videos on the channel not being uploaded in 21:9, if they're being edited in 21:9? Will the channel start uploading in 21:9 because they're being edited in 21:9?

As a Yemeni, it saddens me that the Archipelagos of Socotra is being occupied by the UAE, just because they have oil money. They've also taken over Mayoon Island and built a military base, according to Reuters. This reminds me of Russia annexing the Crimea from the Ukraine and nobody did anything.
