It's crazy how one song caused people to throw mistreatment allegations and saying Liz should be a soloist. Firstly, it's not easy to just leave a group and go solo and secondly, Liz doesn't seem upset about the line distribution and she seemed genuinely happy during their reaction.

The amount of ‘fans’ Liz has on the internet is astounding, you would think she’s up there with Wonyoung in terms of popularity because EVERYBODY and their mom has something to say about her and show ‘support’ when something bad happens. Yet SOMEHOW, as a ‘surprise’ to us all, this popularity doesn’t seem to also translate as actual support for her solo activities, accomplishments and role in the group.... if ya’ll would only put the same kind of energy in showing her real love...

I think Liz is probably in the best position popularity wise right now, don’t get me wrong I HATE the lack of lines she’s been getting recently. But to be in one of the most popular groups right now and have almost everyone rooting for you is pretty good for her image 🤷‍♀️

Leeseo might not be the most essential member in ive but i really can’t imagine the group without her. I feel like her unique vocal color and her charisma add so much to ive’s music and performances. I also find it funny how a lot of people that say she adds nothing to the group are probably people who stan groups full of dozens…

I feel western fans just don't like feminine girls. For me leeseo voice and appearance gave Ive and kitsch specifically a really nice juvenile vibes. Also one other reason I like Ive is that they feel distinct yet cohesive strangely enough. Beside wonyoung, leeseo also fit the image of gaeul, rei, and yujin depending on the concept I feel other groups with "savage" like concept fair better with westerns fans then delicate or feminine groups. Ive gives me elle woods vibes which is objectively lovable but easy to hate on Lastly taste is subjective, enuchae and kazuha's vocal tones are really not my thing yet I don't go spam their fancams

The Liz situation gets me SO mad because most people complain about starship doing her dirty but they don’t support her and hype her up any other day except when it’s time to talk about mistreatment. People don’t just say “oh she should get more lines” but they say “she should get more lines compared to Wonyoung who can’t sing” and this just goes to show their main intention is dragging the other girls.

Twice are still doing extremely well to the point they've been called the nations girl group [though that title STILL belongs to SNSD and always will] and you know the impact that SNSD had that earned them that title and Twice were able to do similar for current kpop. when a group is truly successful, there's no need to focus on things like "didn't chart well" "didn't sell as many albums" "not as many streams" because they have enough of a legacy to keep them going, Twice have had a growing fandom since debut and I've barely seen anyone leave. Twice have made a POSITIVE mark on the Kpop industry.

If a bigger group had charted on billboard their fandom would have celebrated it but when it’s a nugu group it’s undeserved lol. Ok, the Sheon and friends one threw me for such a loop. I LOVE Billlie, they’re my favourite 4th gen group and are creeping up to my top groups of all time. I’m literally listening to EUNOIA while watching this video. I’ve been following them since debut and Sheon since GP999. Not once has it ever felt like Sheon and friends. When she joined the group and performed RING X RING, the line distribution was a little weird, but it was a 6 member song turned into a 7 member song, but Snowy Night, GingaMinga Yo, Ring Ma Bell, and EUNOIA have all felt very fair and, in my opinion, give everyone a chance to shine. Even throughout all of their b-sides Sheon doesn’t overshadow the other members. Not only that, but the other members are just as popular, maybe even more so, as her. Tsuki is one of the most known 4th gen idols due to her Fancam going viral, Moonsua is also extremely popular, Suhyeon was already known before her debut, etc. Yeah, Sheon does get a decent amount of lines because she is a good vocalist and rapper, but so do Siyoon and Moonsua. If this person sees Billlie as Sheon and friends, I have a hard time believing they “love Billlie dearly” because they clearly don’t follow Billlie at all.

I have been a fan of FIFTY FIFTY since their debut when they literally had 7,000 monthly listeners on spotify. The way they grew over the chorus of 4 months is crazy, and that opinion is also crazy. like we have never seen this before from a nugu rookie group ever in kpop. and how can someone have that opinion when those girls literally made history. I also saw some people on tik tok saying they are going to fall off after cupid era is over but again, even before cupid they had a strong fan base ( small but strong asf) and now it has grown even bigger like c'mon now .

I adore Liz and I do think her lack of lines and the bodyshaming are totally unwarranted (and probably connected unfortunately), but I cannot IMAGINE the amount of backlash she would receive if she just left the group and debuted as a soloist lol. Not to mention that Ive is still quite young, and imo, Liz simply hasn't had enough time to accumulate the amount of experience and fan loyalty (numbers-wise) that it would take to succeed as a soloist. Are we listening to the same music? And since when did any TT music video other than Eunoia focus on her in its storyline?

And if Liz does debut solo or in another group and gets the most lines, what's the point? She won't be as popular or get recognition. She's better off with less lines in IVE than most lines in any other group. Also, I don't think she can be a soloist, she's just the best singer in IVE, she can't carry the performance on her own.

Filler members even if they lack vocal, dance or rap skills, have to provide something. Like visuals/modeling, acting or variety habilities(when the group is unpopular, the funny or actor member of the group can make the group more famous). So almost every group, has those members that wouldnt ever make as soloists, but work perfectly to be the mood maker/meme machine, visual or actor or internet influencer of the group.

If there's a legendary Kpop group that should be disbanding it's Big Bang. I'm a VIP since 2010, don't even come at me for this. Their last full length album came out in 2017 and that was only the last bit to their "Made" series, they released one single in 2018 and then "Still Life" last year. There were no promotions for the song whatsoever, they literally just slapped it on the table and left the building right after. And I'm not at all mad at them. But the song feels like a goodbye-song more than anything else. I don't even think that the members saw each other on set because there was not a single shot of any of the four being with each other, they were completely on their own for their scenes, as far as I recall. They've simply outgrown Big Bang by now. They've been through so much together. So much shit. It's time to let go and let them pursue other avenues in life. To let them enjoy life. Like T.O.P does. Recently he has shared on his Instagram that he officially left Big Bang after leaving YG. Now he's going to the moon, he's working on his first full length solo album, he has his wine business and his passion for collecting art- I'm just so happy for him right now. He's doing everything he couldn't do in all those years. And I just hope we can finally get it over with so that the members can go their ways and do what they want to do. At this point it feels like they're just tired and just wait until their contracts are up for renewal so they can leave.

I’ve literally never even heard of Sheon. This was my first time hearing that name. I know three members of Billlie: Moon Sua, Tsuki, and Haram. I'm sorry, but I do not think the first opinion is too delusional. While I don't think Liz "needs" to leave Ive, I could understand why she might want to. You're making it seem like fame and success are the only factors that idols consider. However, I don't think that is the case for Liz. She is in a medium-sized company. If she wanted just fame or success, why not keep trying/auditioning for companies like the Big 3, Hybe, or even a separate entertainment industry like acting. I think the biggest driving factor that caused Liz to become an idol was her love for music and singing. Now, I am not sure how much these motivations have changed because of Ive's sudden blowup last year and massive increase in popularity, but if Liz still has that drive for music and singing I could see her going to another group or even going solo (despite the drop in popularity) so she can have more lines to sing, especially after the declination of lines she has received recently. Also, I could see her wanting out of a more popular group for mental health reasons because being in a very popular group (especially with how Ive blew up as rookies) is very mentally taxing.

Liz is perfect for IVE but lets not pretend that the amount lines she gets in b-sides completely make up for her lack of lines in the title tracks. The title tracks are the songs the general public see the most and I think line distribution might be reason she's been overlooked a lot in their recent comebacks in comparison to Eleven. I'm not the sort of person to shout "mistreatment" a lot but you have to do a lot of mental mind loops to try justify the fact that everyone BUT Liz got around 20s whereas she got only 6s.
