Hi everybody, here is my new bossa nova improvisation for jazz guitar. One of my favorite jazz standards "Softly as in a morning sunrise". Over the years I've changed the melody to a more groovy one of my own. Chorus #1 & #2 are easy to play, in chorus #3 the going gets tough, and in chorus #4 I've played in a salsa style as the piano players do. Enjoy the music, all the best and I hope we see us again in 2018

Wow! I want a take the time to let you know that Thanks to you for all the work you do, I know that you have put so much work, so many hours and years and years of practicing and devotion to your musical instrument and your musical art and this is where the talent hides: (in the work and devotion we put into our talent) ,. Bravo you are a good example to follow for the oder players like me.. I might never reach up to your level but you sure helping me to reach out at an higher level in my own way of playing my guitar, your videos are helping me, thanks to you,. You are so generous for sharing your beautifull music art. I did learn music theories, harmonies with good teachers, I can read music notes and tablature, I have studied jazz and blues guitar but it was too much at some point for me with 4 kids to feed and working at the factory all weeks long but I today have decided to explore my own way of playing my guitar... I look at your video and I learn from you, thank you so much because of you I will become a better guitar player.. Mario

amazing that every jazz guitarist has his own style to improvise. If you watch some different jazzers playing, you will notice that many many patterns, riffs, licks are gonna repeat over and over again.
