BRO! I've been a hardcore addict for 14/15yrs, YOU AND I BOTH KNOW "HE'S GONNA GET YOU HIGH BEFORE YOU GET HIM SOBER" and TO ALL those non-addicts saying "relapse is part of recovery" is just giving us an excuse to use down the road. Of course it's part of recovery but if you understand the sick mind of an addict YOU DONT say this. "A reservation"!!! So many times I've had a few days or weeks and heard that at a meeting or treatment and I couldn't stop playing that over and over in my head. "Oh come on it's part of recovery. So you can do it 1 more time". Until I finely gave in.. Stop saying that shit! From one addict to another Norman do it for me, do it for all the people who can't stop for today. For all the brothers, sisters, moms, and dads that will never have the chance to get sober and shine because they are never coming home. Shine for them.. Norman GET OUT THAT HOUSING SITUATION ASAP!!!!!!!

@@hulkboy4e facts that he already knows from treatment and living the life. The current situation he's in is because he can't fully let go.. I've been homeless, I know what it's like to have seriously limited housing options. Treatment counselors I've had or mentors in meetings will tell you that if your living with people getting high and no other place to live go to a shelter. Norman knows this.. He already has reservations. Sure shelters still carry a high relapse rate but Norman has to put in more effort at a shelter to get high rather than a friend roommate that gets high. Unfortunately he knows this. Any addict that's been around like me and Norman it's common knowledge. So if he is reading this and doesn't do anything it's obvious for one reason, he wants to get high at some point.. He knows recovery must come 1st before anything! Pretty funny how I could make a good counselor if I could just stop putting spikes in my arm and doing every drug under the sun. But this is Norman's story, Norman's chance and if he's not gonna go 100 he knows why...

You are right, its always the most intelligent addicts that have a harder time letting go, for me, I used to think I can figure out a way to still get high. I can say it never works..godbless

@@shawny6178 well he is kinda experienced in drug abuse as well detox/rehab 😅. He states that in this interview even. But that doesn’t mean we should give up on him and not support him in his journey to sobriety 🤘🏼 Always try to be kind and supportive. Doesn’t cost a dime 🥰

Norman is officially my favorite person on SWU. He is so smart and he communicates very well. It's almost as if he is educating himself again when he is speaking to Mark. He is his own teacher. I'm here for it praying and love sent your way Norman.

You may be addicted to playing video games and laziness, but Norman is a fighter that is in a difficult battle of addiction.

Just keep going Norman! I don't have an addiction but I feel lost often in life. Things can be very hard. During those dark days I just try to remind myself: things will get better. At that moment it feels like you are all alone and it will last forever but in the end things will change and do get better. Love and strength from Amsterdam

Norman you could be a mentor for so many people that is going through the same thing that you have because you’re so motivating . To be a mentor / consular a person has to really understand what that person has been through or going through & you would be great at helping others . I've said this once about Norman and I will say it again, he could be a motivational speaker for people to get sober, stay sober and for young people to stay off drug and live a fulfilling life.
