Two questions, we do NOT need to attach any of the green wires to the copper wire from the ceiling? 2nd question, I have a red wire coming from the ceiling, is that not needed with this fan since it is controlled by the remote?

Yes, it is necessary to connect the green wires from the fan to the copper wire from the ceiling, as the green wire is the ground wire. As for the red wire coming from the ceiling, it depends on where it is connected in your room. You may want to consult an electrician for further assistance.

I have a question about power outages. If the fan (and light) are on when the power goes out, what happens when the power is restored? Do the fan and light resume at their previous settings or do they remain off? Note, the remote control buttons were not touched during the outage.

Was that light switch on the wall wired for just the fan itself or was it wired for lights in the room aswell? I just installed same fan but when i turn the switch off for the lights in the room the fan will not work, when turned on for the lights fan will work.

Thanks for your inquiry. Currently, this model is only available with a remote control and it is not recommended to use wall switches instead. However, if you wish to try connecting the fan to a single power switch, it is possible to do so. Please note that this will not provide any additional functions or controls aside from turning the power of the fan on and off. We appreciate your understanding and support. Issue is I should have worked backwards according to the manual instructions says from the top down. Your obviously a contractor. But i wouldn't expect anything less than backwards means forwards. I was putting in mine from 20 feet in the air. So you can imagine my frustration.

We recommend following the manual instructions carefully and suggest assembling the fan first before installation if you have a higher ceiling. It is also recommended to have assistance from another person to help with wiring and installation.
