I have this exact car. Bought it at 63,000 miles and have put well over 30,000 miles into it in the 2 years I've had it. (Road construction.. Was driving 100 miles a day)... VERY reliable car and the gas mileage is amazing. If anyone is looking to get one, I'd definitely recommend it.

What a nice and clean looking car with a simple interior design

I had a 1995 Jetta that just gave out on me last week, I mourned the loss of that car. She cost me next to nothing except brakes and a muffler. I now have a 2011 Jetta. I really appreciate you going through the car like you do , I have no manual for it. You go through it a little too fast, but thanks again, I would never own anything but a VW.

Jakeman, I know you were trying to sell this car so you couldn't really give an objective review, you basically were just stating the features. However, what are your thoughts on this generation or model. 3 weeks ago I picked up a 2013 model with the 2.5 convenience w/ sunroof 5 speed manual, candy white w/ cornsilk beige interior, 16336 miles one owner for $13,000. So far I'm thrilled to be in the vehicle everyday. I think the mk6 design will age very well as it looks like a baby audi (very mature, im 26 btw). That motor has an ample amount of usable power and torque for the average daily driver. It really gets up in 2nd gear. Anyway, what are thoughts? Similar to how you reviewed your dads Mk5.
