I'd knock a wall out to make a large master bedroom somewhere in there, did it in similar house. My oldest boy took over part of the "basement" as a bedroom and 3 others followed suit when the older one left for university. They loved it !! ( seperate entrance, they weren't fooling us)

The house has lots of character and it's very spacious! The WC next to a full bath is odd but better than none at all. Upstairs I would sacrifice bedroom #3 and create an ensuite bath for the largest bedroom. The basement area could include a recreation room and a better-utilized utility/laundry room. The baths and kitchen need updating, and the whole house needs redecorating, but the investment would give you a really impressive property.

It's a great size for a good price, but not what we will be looking for. I am sure it will make a great home for someone though.

You went over the kitchen too quickly. I would like to see how it’s configured. I don’t recall seeing a stove/cooker/hob. I would like to see the cabinets and counter tops. Downstairs has such wonderful possibilities, especially since the owners had the foresight to install a toilet. Could be three or more rooms, ie family room, game room, hobby room . Could be an entire “apartment” for grandparents or a widowed mom or mother-in-law. Yes, I can see removing some walls upstairs and making fewer, larger bedrooms, and the bathrooms can use a bit of upgrading. However, the house and neighborhood are really, really nice, and the price makes worth any changes one might undertake to make it to their personal taste. Great property. This one’s a winner!

I would have all the woodwork painted in white/off white, the bathrooms and WC redone, and have wood flooring everywhere except kitchen and bathrooms.
