This series is great. Said it on another video but I really love your approach to these van tours. I could listen to these people talk for hours. I also like that you're not just going for fancy af vans but also like pretty low budget ones made by people who haven't been able to buy a brand new sprinter or whatever. I pretty much never click the bell when I subscribe to channels but I've just made an exception!

I'm sleeping in my converted cargo van with five dogs and two cats while still working so that I can retire in a few months and travel full time. My dogs come to work with me as I'm a pet groomer, and my cats stay in the van. We're all adjusting well with minimal upsets. I'm planning to upgrade to a shuttle bus before I start traveling. It will be so wonderful to stand up and have a real home instead of just a bedroom on wheels.

Please advice me how to keep my dog and 2 cats cool in a van 🙏 I'm planing to by a van like ducato or speinter, and i watche van fans and considering to by 2 maxfans, but i'm afraid of the heat being too much... !!! What can i do to take care of them ???

@@michalbet6100 Good question. I personally wouldn't leave my dogs in the van in hot weather even with two MaxxAir fans. Cats can better handle warmer temps as long as they have airflow and plenty of water. Good luck in your van buildout!!

That looks like the best size for a build out & so many options for what's already built in there. Very cool. I invite you to Place a corrugated cardboard flat on seat for Felix. [under $10 @ most stores] clearing out the fixed litter box & place a plastic one in there for easy clean abilities. They make corner ones that may fit in perfectly. & add a few window hammocks for Felix to perch up higher & oversee his domanin. Way to go. Best of luck.

Love it! I never would've considered an ambulance! And you're so adorable and confident in your choice/lifestyle. I am considering options, but have concerns for my cat. How do you keep Felix cool/warm when you're not there? I may have missed how you heat and cool. Or if you have a system set up that runs while you're gone.

Beth Radford in the summer I had taped som bug screen to the inside of the front windows so I could could have them opened during the day and night for some air flow. I just have to get some new stuff this year. I also want to get one of those ceiling vents this year

Kitties are hard wired to spend a certain amount of time every day hunting, the rest of the time loafing & a little social interaction. If they don't get that time chasing the mouse on a string or the laser light, that's when they'll suddenly run up the curtains or go bolting around. Play takes the place of hunting. They need maybe 15 minutes of play every day, then they settle down. About the peeing all over, I donknow.

The stripes are easy to get off. You just need a heat gun and or an eraser wheel attachment for the drill. The heat gun is $14. The eraser wheels are $10 online

I have a similar van, wasn't am ambulance though just an 1989 e250 extra long. its actually a pretty comfortable amount of space for one.mine has the 351 engine so it gets like 10 mpg but is really slow Id love to have the 460 I have heard really it gets about the same gas milage 10ish but you have a lot more power.being a larger engine it doesnt have to work as hard therefore supposedly that evens out the fuel economy.

I love that your van is an ambulance! No one is going to hurt or break into an ambulance...too much bad karma for any who do! I like the modular yellow walls and benches inside. Nice cat too. This helped me realize I can't live without hot baths on demand. Water, water, fire, fire water, etc. That's all I am. I'd have to live at a hot spring...which wouldn't be so bad 😃😃😃 Because I'm an Aries w/Sag Moon and the rest water I don't think I should do van life. This video rocks. Subscribed 🧡❤️💚

How do you control the temp while you're gone? I wanna work full time so I can make/save a lot of money but I don't want my cat to overheat/freeze while I'm gone
