Aloha Leif loving this episode. Been wondering if you would ever take a trip to Hawaii. I am from the big island of Hawaii and love how you give respect to the honu (turtle) and pick up after other people. To bad you didn't visit the big island and get to see the volcano lava flow on Maunaloa and the snow on Maunakea, lava and snow at the same time very rare I think the last time Maunaloa erupted was 38 years ago. Awesome to see you come to Hawai’i! The first fish is a stocky hawkfish (Po’opa’a), then a blackspot sergeant (Kūpīpī), and then of course the bluefin trevally (’Ōmilu)

i absolutely love that you’re still wearing the hat you found on a mountain all those months back. you never stop staying true to your roots and your respect for nature is incredible. like the others have said, the intro was incredible. I was inspired to try out hiking and then fishing when i began to watch your videos some months ago. i’ve got all the hiking gear i’ll need to hit trails which i’ve already got planned shortly, and i’ve just bought my first 6.5ft ultralight rod and have learned to tie my first fishing knots and rig up bait rigs and soft plastics rigs. i did some lure fishing yesterday for the first time and have been out twice prior to throw a worm in a river. i have you and these videos to thank for that inspiration. thanks for everything. keep being you, Leif. this dude from Australia thanks you ❤

I watched this sitting outside in Idaho while it's snowing 😂 I love this because if I ever go to Hawaii, this is what I want to be doing. I don't care about all of the tourist stuff. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to travel to Hawaii on a yearly basis and let me tell you, some of the hardest fishing I’ve ever done. Coming from a Washingtonian it’s so hard with those waves and rocks. However makes a much more satisfying catch with the barriers Hawaii has. I LOVE your videos man, keep living your dream man! I’m jealous yet grateful for you and your videos.
