Ok, here's what I'm thinkin': "Corporals Cabin" series. You do the same stuff you do in your other videos, but you do it all out of the cabin as if you are actually living in it for an extended period, decorate the walls with tools, live in the cabin for a day or three at a time, maybe a few different skills that you don't normally show, like knife sharpening, doing dishes in the woods, building a latrine facility, doing laundry bushcraft style, etc. Sounds like a great time overall. That said, #corporalaf4life!

Keep it up Corporal! Love the content, the humor and the useful tips. I have and do spend a lot of time in the field, and I recognize your methods because they work. Simple and genius? I think so.

Hey Corporal , just a FYI on my feeds YT next video was yours, also 5 and 7th, 15th and 16th. On another note, I did my first solo camp trip (car camping for work purposes) and used a lot of what you taught me. My ridge line set up with tarp withstood constant wind for about 5 hours with gusts of 50 km/ h and higher. Also used some of your fire starting techniques, with great success ( didnt do the bow drill not enough time). All in all thank you for sharing your knowledge, and experiences .

Watching you haul around those logs brings back memories. I don't know if you had "training logs" in the Marine Corps boot camp, but when I was in Army Basic Training, out in front of our barracks, we had a 6ft long, 105lb log affectionately called "Big Bertha". If you got into bad enough trouble, you had to go get Big Bertha and do PT while holding her on your shoulder or cradling her across your chest.

To help with your experiment, I have played all of your videos on youtube continuously, (currently in 2018 and still playing). I always learn alot when I watch your content. I am still honing my fire making skills. You have created a pyromaniac, I start fires in 98 degree weather, in the rain, morning, noon, or night. I have pitched tarp shelter through as 3 hurricanes have passed by this year. All shelters were mostly dry and remained solid through the rain. Just wanted to let you know i appreciate your time, effort and content. PS- My neighbors think I'm crazy. Best wishes for you you and your channel from Tallahassee FL.

If you do build the shanty, would you consider using the Korean Ondol or “hot stone” method to heat it?. A trench is dug and covered with flat stones then covered with mud. A firebox at one end and a chimney at the other for draft. The flames travel beneath the floor heating the stones. After a while the stones stay warm all night with heat conducted and radiating directly into the room.
