Just seen you’ve hit the million subs! Congrats corp, been a sub for just over a year was laid out in bed with covid for a week last Nov and god bless a binge fest of your videos. Got me back into the outdoors, started following some of the UK KZfaq guys and now enjoying being able to spend time with my daughter on walks in the countryside and show her some of the stuff I’ve learnt about forestry. And all because I randomly found one of your videos when I was ill.

@@alaskankare Correct…. However, he also said, if 500 people are saying the same thing, 1,000 comments will not make a difference. There was a $hit ton of other content in that video that merited a positive comment versus sound quality.

Congratulations on the 1 Million subs. If I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about the negative comments. There will always be someone who knows or thinks they know more than you. The vast majority, the silent majority appreciates your videos, points of view and the fact that you take time out of your life to share your knowledge with us. As an Aussie Ex-serviceman (Army), I have learnt things from your channel. Cheers, mate. keep 'em coming.

Try taking your 10x20' tarp, find the halfway point on the long edge and place it at the back of your apex. Then drape those two halves down your two door poles. The rest of the tarp will find the curve and you can use the parts of the tarp that splay out back over the ground to catch rainwater and/or dew. You won't need to cut the tarp at all. I often just build a fire outside the open door, far enough to get warmth but not too close to catch the tarp on fire. All I take with me hunting is a sheet plastic or lightweight tarp and a folding saw. I often just use a couple of forked sticks in the tripod and use no lashing whatsoever. Conicals are quick and simple. Great video!

Comments are engagement. I'd let ppl post comments all month on the audio, because KZfaq can't tell the difference between engagement types. 😁in the end, there aren't very many channels that really deserve the attention, but yours is certainly one that does. Also, another great build! That's one I'd actually try. Reminds me of a documentary on Mongolian nomads putting up their great-tents. (Spoiler: Grandma's in charge, and do NOT cross grandma!)

Your really good at this! I am retired army (E4 Mafia for LIfE!!!) due to paraplegia. I mostly use a wheelchair, but I can walk a little bit with leg braces. I go camping every chance I get: I ski swim kayak sale row, do as much as I can learn to adapt to do. Really enjoy watching these videos! I used to be an avid backpacker and carried as a little as possible, less and less over the years. The only suggestion I would really have for this would be to have a bug net if it’s during the warmer season, but this is a perfect cold-weather shelter if you’re in a pinch! Thank you for making these videos!

I was thinking the same thing. Have 1 million subscribers, ask in a video if the audio from the new mic sounds good, then complain when people say it doesn't. I enjoy the videos, don't get me wrong. But it's kind of like what did you expect? And is KZfaq really messing with the audio? He already was curious if the audio was going to come out good because of the new mic. Idk just seems strange
