This just brings up what I think is the biggest issue in making a live action massively shared universe: the actors. Specifically, contractual restrictions, budgets/wages, and availability. These are practical issues that just don't exist to as major of an extent in animation (and are nearly non-existent in comics or books).

Everyone jokes that Captain America: Civil War is just Avengers 2.5 (hell, I've made those kinds of jokes), but it really is the pinnacle of telling a solo story that brings in the rest of the team. It's called Captain America: Civil War not Avengers: Civil War for a reason. Because at its core, Civil War is a story about Cap's relationships (particularly his relationships with Tony and Bucky, with those two relationships being utilized as foils to each other). It's a story about Cap grappling with what to do when tragedy forces him to chose a best friend to ally himself with and a best friend to fight against. And by the film's end, it's a story about Cap realizing that he made mistakes that put him in that situation in the first place, expressing regret for those mistakes, and extending an offer to heal what was broken by his choices. Civil War is Steve Rogers's movie, but most of the Avengers are also present in it. In reality though, they are just there to support his story and are effectively just along for the ride. A great example of that third type of solo story that you mentioned that I don't think the MCU will ever surpass (at least with regards to solo films of that type).

I actually find that the reliance on Iron Man in Spider-Man movies undermines them as Spider-Man movies and makes Spider-Man feel much less like Spider-Man and much more like Robin or William Stronghold. And I’m not a fan of that. And I know there’s a way to give that connection to Iron Man and the Avengers without creating the impression of “Jumping Jehoshaphat, it’s Iron Man!” because Earth’s Mightiest Heroes did it (quite well in fact) with the episode New Avengers.

While I don't disagree with the reference to 'Everything is Wonderful' as a great solo story, I think that the first half of the episode suffers from a case of 'tony stark written poorly'-itus. Maybe 'Gamma World' slowly becoming a Hawkeye/Hulk story or 'Living Legend' being a Cap story where the major threat isn't solved by Cap would be better examples?

EMH and MCU are both known for having these moment's that really highlight core aspects of a character's personality, and even what happens when things defined them come into major conflict with what is being asked about them. For example, the first time Iron Man initiates the "New Avengers protocols" which is something that we don't see until the series finally (I really wish it had only been a season finale) we see Tony's propensity to think ahead for situations that are likely to happen in the future by sending out a call to Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Wolverine (it's unclear if Wolverine actually got the call or is along for the ride since he was in the same place as Spider-Man at the time). And the way he sends out the call to each is brilliant, Spider-Man actually has J.A.R.V.I.S. talking to him telling him how it's possible when Peter asks. Also, EMH shows really treats Yellowjacket's identity as this big mystery, even throwing out unclear and misleading clues about who it is, Wasp is sure of the answer when the rest of the team isn't quite sold on the idea, and goes out of her way to prove it, but people who have read comics and know the history of these characters could probably call it from a mile away, the entire episode when we see Hank as just his usual civilian attire again he's showing that his mental state isn't in a good place. The MCU shows Tony is still that thinker, but most of his plans came as more of a reaction, the same with his armors that are highlighted in the MCU, all the way back in his first film, the gold armor was created as a response to the icing of the suit at high elevations when he built the new prototype suit after returning home, the nono-tech was built in response to how things played out in Captain America Civil War, with how his fight with Cap and Bucky and how Ant-Man basically tore his suit's internal workings apart during the battle at the airport. As for Yellowjacket in the MCU has completely different origins from the comics and EMH.

The Hydra-AIM battle and focusing on the Avengers, and thinking the Red Hulk was the Hulk even when being told that Bruce was in control and was with Hawkeye). While the Sutur cliffhanger is an overall bigger problem that we’ll never see addressed without season 3, the most tragic thing is we never seen the true rehabilitation of Wonder Man. The problem I have with the MCU is how marketable it has become. Now hear me out. The problem I have with the films themselves is that the movies did alright with telling solo stories of a singular hero pretty well, before the first Avengers film (except Thor). But after the first films success, when new heroes show up, especially when it comes to telling their own stories, they always have to throw in Avengers, just to stay relevant & make some quick cash. I didn't like it in the first Ant-Man film nor I did like it in MCU Spider-Man films. In Ant-Man, they make his fight against Falcon looking creative, cool & memorable, yet when he has to fight his own villian it becomes very lackluster, boring & forgettable. MCU somehow can make fighting heroes against other heroes look great, but they can't do the same for villians? Now that's just lazy, because Marvel villians should be & are just as important as the main hero characters are. Yet MCU doesn't seem to take a full advantage of that, unlike Earth's Mightiest Heroes does it. And don't even get me started on how they screwed with Spider-Man's character in the MCU. I can write a whole essay about what's wrong with MCU's Spidey, but that's a topic for another time.

Nothing in life is perfect, including films. I mean for Pete's sake, Star Lord beat Ronan with a dance off. Yet, in Earth's Mightiest Heroes it took nearly the whole team of Avengers to beat Ronan & it was an actual fight as well. A very cool one I might add.

This is something the original comics struggled with as well, and the reason why Iron Man and Thor left the team in the early years for years. Option 3 is my favorite course here. If they’re to be seen as a family, why not act together? One character can take the lead every once in a while and the others act as supporting cast.

That was a great ant man episode, honestly all of the ones that focus on his character I found to be really good, ant man wasn’t a character I gave a whole lot of thought as a kid but in that show he was one of my favorites alongside Hawkeye & Black Panther

1:16 Hey, that's me! Never been featured in a KZfaq video before. Makes me feel happy to be recognized. Anyway, I think you've touched on the topic very well! A week ago, a friend of mine complained that they didn't like movies because the action's always moving, and there's never any time for the characters to just chill out together. While that's probably not 100% true, especially in the MCU, I think bringing characters over from other properties, even if it's just at the beginning, lets us get more chill time with the characters, like Wasp, Hawkeye, and Hulk hanging out in the Avengers' pool or Iron Man and Captain America eating breakfast together in EMH. That is one of the appeals of crossovers, after all, and it's easy to forget the Avengers is just that; a crossover event.

Phase 2 was a bit of a strange era of the MCU. They didn’t entirely know how to continue the story after _Avengers…_ without the Avengers. This probably could have been a good time to introduce new characters with their own stories (Other than Sam and the Guardians). It isn’t until AOU and Civil War that it seems like the Avengers are regularly active together. And if not, then here’s some possible premises to explain Iron Man 3 and the Winter Soldier to explain why the Avengers aren’t around (Thor 2 makes the most sense already because most of it is in space and Thor is dealing with the chaos across all the 9 realms). - Iron Man 3: Tony steps away from the Avengers because their presence is unintentionally triggering his PTSD, leading him to isolate himself at his mansion as he builds an arsenal of suits for every situation. - Winter Soldier: The Avengers are the ones saving the SHIELD agents on the Lumerian star (I think that’s the ships name). Winter Soldier eventually comes up the same way, Steve sees his face at a similar point as the movie, then he goes solo to solve the mystery regarding Bucky (without telling anyone), except Natasha follows him and helps him (Sam will still be introduced). It’s a very rough idea that can definitely be polished a lot

This is Day 3 of asking you to make a Hank Pym video. Would love a video on it as he is my favourite character not only in the show but in the comics. This made me love him so much

When you think about it, the entire "my company got all their stocks bought out" storyline is on the shoulders of the guy who took his company public in the first place. If you don't want people buying up your shares, don't put your company on the stock exchange!

I not only think the cartoons did stories better than the MCU, but better than the comics did as well.

Sure - 2:28 to 4:40 is 'Lazy Walk' by Cheel, a royalty-free track from the KZfaq Studio Sound Library. 4:50 to 8:09 is a similar track from the same place, called RhythmOrganyzer by Noir Et Blanc Vie. The rest of the soundtrack is original - made from recordings and combinations of samples myself - and doesn't exist anywhere outside my videos. (The final snippet is an instrumental reimagining of the Avengers: EMH theme though, so the actual version of that is widely available.)

I think they should invest in making TV series more than the movies as in movies they have a time limit in which they are unable to show more... As an example the solo stories we witnessed in mightiest heroes were eventually connected in the later episodes that we would find in the later episodes same goes here too I think making series with more seasons and episodes will have a great story telling thing but at the end of the day it comes to money invested and returns on the investment 🙂

Pillar of Garbage: Captain America The Winter Soldier is the best MCU film Me: He's not wrong. It was actually one of the first MCU films I bought in physical media. And also it had a good balance between seriousness & comedy.

MCU has ALOT of plot holes!!! Like I. Thor 1 the bifrost is destroyed so Thor can no longer go to earth to see Jane but then somehow Thor appears in the avengers and there are a lot more like in captain America 2 why didn’t iron man show up there are so many little and BIG things like that throughout the MCU and it’s really annoying also the time stone makes no sense In the MCU!

I suggest you watch the movies again. Loki literally tells Thor "how much dark energy did All Father used to send you to here" something along those lines, that is also one of the reasons why Thor wasn't that strong in The Avengers. And the events of Captain America 2 happened in 2 days so the Avengers weren't around to help him out + he was out for hunt by hydra agents & Nick Fury told him not to trust anyone.

Damn ur old videos are so good n analytical what happened to you now? U make videos trying to defend shows or media which is 'woke'. It shouldnt matter what others say n give ur opinion n analysis instead of trying to rebuttal other's opinions imo
