Thanks Paul, yes that stove combo is great, a fire for the evening meal and a fuss free alcohol stove for the morning brew. I showed a bit more of that tent on its first outing (this was the second) in the video below. The space inside is great. I cant reach the top of the roof at the high point, when lying down and the two vestibules are a bonus. Thanks Marcin, yes Ive had that on some of the bigger mountains, always memorable when you get a quiet night with no wind. I had one camp halfway up Snowdon once where we could see a storm raging back home, about 30 miles away. Fantastic. Thanks for watching and commenting👍

Hi Ana thanks for stopping by! I had a couple of epic trips to Snowdonia in the month before this trip- if you get a chance to take a look, the videos are pretty epic as the weather was so good! North Wales, especially Snowdonia, is a fabulous place to explore as you can do it bit by bit, like piecing a jigsaw together! Atb Joss

No worries Mark. I went up last week and the blossom from the Hawthorn had turned brown and the bracken much more dense. Oh and heard the song of the Skylark and heard Curlew too👍👍 Off to Snowdonia tomorrow so a vid soon, all being well. Catch you soon mate.

Thanks Steve, nice one. The tent is an old style Scarp 1 (the new design interior can be widened) Its a 4 season tent and much roomier inside than my Laser Comp and has 2 vestibules. Its 1.4kg and has optional outer poles for extra support from snow and wind in winter. Hey a Wales trip sounds good... is it you getting married? Atb Joss

@@jossthomas123456 fantastic I love the scarp tents, well known for their strength and yeah I've seen the extra poles fitted 👌. Plus that weight is perfect means you can carry more food and drink lol. Yeah it is mate over in the lakes in July so fingers crossed for the weather 🤞😂. Defo sort something out maybe Sept?

Tony's Adventures thanks mate, much appreciated. The frame is a Honey Stove which can burn all sorts of fuels and the burner is the White Box Stove.

@@jossthomas123456 I have a few woodgas stoves, and a couple of trangia stoves, but just seen the Bushbox XL for £90 on amazon, Inc grill too. Maybe I'll buy it for my birthday next month :)

Tony's Adventures the bushbox is nice. My friend has one. My stove slots together but the bushbox has the advantage of folding on hinges.
