➤ In today's video I will be climbing the Four munros on the Cairn Toul - Braeriach Traverse - finishing my day with a stunning wildcamp deep in the Cairngorm Mountain Range..
THE ROUTE: www.walkhighlands.co.uk/cairn...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scotland has 282 Munro's - Which are peaks over 3000ft in height, I am aiming to climb them ALL!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
➤SUBSCRIBE to the channel to keep up to date with the latest Munro's! I will document every single one which will help you get a feel for what they are really like - these are not intended as a guide, always take the precautions before hitting the hills!

To walk in a beautiful landscape with the heat on the face while snow lies at the feet ... magical memories. I always appreciate the way you put in a map route and generous peak filming so others can use it as an aid in route planning.👍

Hi James, Doesnt matter what route you take on this one its an epic undertaking. Sore feet is the norm in my experience. Superb day, superb video as normal. 😃 🙌

Have just discovered your videos. I did the Cairn Toul-Braeriach Traverse in the opposite direction on a horrible wet, misty, snowy day back in May 2015 and didn't get a view until I was coming off the summit of Braeriach. I did it in one day in 14hrs 25mins. Definitely type 2 enjoyment for that one! Thank you for the opportunity to see the views that I didn't get to see. We really are lucky to have such beauty in Scotland (when you can see it!).

That kind of weather on Braeriach is nuts. It has its own climate that basically nobody can predict so you lucked out!

Well done James. Great video. I did that in one and walked through the Lairig Grhu in the dark with my head torch, that was an experience 😂

Super video of an outstanding traverse: thanks. The white legs give away your aversion to shorts! In a previous video you asked for recommendations for future Munros. Often done as the first or last is Ben More on Mull. As one of the few I have done I would thoroughly recommend doing it via the A' Chioch ridge from Loch Na Keal rather than the slog up the "tourist" path. Use the tourist path for descent and if it's a hot day a lovely pool awaits to dip your feet or have a dunk as my son did while waiting fo me to catch up!

You took your time doing this and i really respect that, it's so easy to rush hiking you seem like you have it nailed. The weather was awesome i wish it was like this for me! Still yet to conquer cairn toul, I've done braeriach but not the other side of the corrie. One day i will get back but it's a 7 hour drive 😅 i really enjoyed watching the vid 👏

What an amazing video James. I was there last week but came in from the Linn of Dee and did it Devils Point first. Had to bail after Cairn Toul because the wind was so strong. Always another day. Love the content 👍
