This video highlights the present goalkeeping problem after the exit of Vincent Enyeama and presents a few solutions available to the Super Eagles presently. Heading towards that efforts of players like Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface do not go to waste.
These options includes new keepers like Noah Atubolu, Arsenal products Arthur Okonkwo and Ovie Ejeheri, Joshua Oluwayemi, Owen Goodman, African based Stanley Nwabiili , Ama Obasogie and Christian Nwokeh.

Haven't studied them in detail but it seems most people are leading towards Noah Atubolu and Owen Goodman as priority. Will compare their stats and give a summation at some point

Tobias lawal and Rasheed are Laos good option it I think okonkwo and atubolo are best long term options

You have just hit the nail on the head....that position is Jinxed. Since Vincent Enyeama was unceremoniously sent out of the team and forced to retire by Sunday Oliseh who is a very bad coach and of course Amaju Pinnick who stood idle and watched him mess up the Nigerian National team. No one is asking the right questions and Oliseh is still running free wherever he is. The NFF has no bearing and filled with fraudsters. Something has to be done to appease Enyeama.

Pls lets not forgot he was ok for a while. Is obvious his time on the bench is taking its toll just like with Okoye. We definitely should focus on goalkeepers getting playing time for their club

Please let's have more goals keepers to fight for the #1 shirt. Relying on only one is a big problem. Throw the gate open for goal tenders,both at home & abroad,to compete.

You forgot to mention Jonathan Rasheed, I believe he would be the best short term solution after the season he’s having and you didn’t mention Tobias Lawal who plays in Austria for LASK. He’s been doing well this season, especially in European competition. And he has been called up before.

@@GreaterNationSports lemme tell you about Rasheed this season. He’s been one of the best keepers in Sweden this season, he is one of the reasons that his club is 5th place in their league right now and normally they would be in the bottom half. Yes he’s 31 but I think he would be the best short term solution since he is having the best season of his career, and Lawal would be the better long term solution. And the Swedish league season is ending in 2 weeks so we won’t have to fight his club to let him go to AFCON since they will be in the off season by then.

Emiliano Martinez is 31 and just won the World Cup, Yassine Bounou is 32 and reached the World Cup Semifinals with Morocco. Are you saying these two wouldn’t make Nigeria’s team because they are above 30? Very strange of you to bring up age, as if age has ever mattered for Goalkeepers.

I will always choose maduka okoye over Francis uzoho any time any day all maduka needs is time and opportunity to prove his worth because to me he has not been given enough time like Francis uzoho so let the NFF and their crew give give chance and stop putting pressure on him trust me he will surely deliver. 👌💯

Apart from Atubolu i admire three other goalkeepers Okonkwo, the Westham and Crystal palace guy but we have a lot talents in the local league.

local what you say, have you watched the league of late? Blunders upon blunders and i am saying this because i was a goalkeepr and i know how these things work. The league goalkeepers are not professional enough. Imagine a Nigerian league goalkeeper on the same pitch with Mbappe or Messi.....it becomes goal spree for these guys. Our league needs a positive boost.

The current keeper 'Ojo Olorunleke ' who the coach keeps on the bench is far and far better than most of this keepers but they haven't give him opportunity to even show his abilities

Please what will it be take NFF to apologise to Enyama? Even they call for National apology, I promise you that the entire Nigeria will comply to it owing to the priceless service he has rendered to Nigeria. Just apologise! What is hard to realize your mistake and apologise and then give him honorary ceremonial exit. They can even put his sculpture in NFF headquarters etc. Even if a better goalkeeper emerges, he still deserves our apology and that is if there is no other side to the story.

Vincent Enyama was indeed one of the best Goalkeepers Nigeria ever produced. However, lack of empathy and by leadership of the NFF and super eagles handlers led to his early and unceremonious retirement. His spirit is still hunting the team. A national apology should be tendered to Vincent. Vincent should also forgive and pray for the team. May the good Lord of mercy forgive all our errors in Jesus name

Apology? Nothing wrong t that. But we shouldn't have had a good right back since Reuben Agboola was politicised out of the super eagles in 1993 despite proving his class at AFCON 92 and in the first round of USA 94 qualifiers. Guardiola shdnt have won the Champions league wt Man City after maltreatment Yaya Toure and sending him out. These dry spells in certain positions in any team used to come once in a while. At AFCON 92 USA 94 qualifiers , Westerhof was experimenting with Eguavoen and Emeka Ezeogu as defensive midfielders and they were struggling to cope b4 Sunday Oliseh was found. We will get our keeper . Let s have faith and keep trying.

What an outstanding analysis! All the goal keepers mentioned here are pretty good, but the ones that fascinate me so much are: 1) Noah Atubolo and 2) Owen Goodman What I adore about these two goal keepers is the ability to read the ball motion. They do NOT move till they see the ball in motion. NFF and Coach Peseiro, please reach out to these talented guys asap. NFF should make it right with Vincent Enyeama.

If you are referring to Jonathan Rasheed he was considered but he is already 31 and still plays in the Swedish second tier. Not sure he would be our best option looking towards the next World Cup. What we have presented are goalkeepers with growing potential

@@GreaterNationSportsRasheed would be a great short term solution as the Swedish league season finishes in 2 weeks until next April. So NFF wouldn’t have any trouble with his club calling him up for WC qualifiers and AFCON since he will be in his off season.
