Great video! I wonder how you were able to measure 0 Vac in the beginning if the thermal fuse is open, no voltage should pass after the fuse...?

He was measuring potential difference between “BK” & “R”, across a timer switch. Because the switch was closed and not causing a voltage drop, there was no difference in potential between these two points. The Thermal Fuse is not included in this test.

What caused the thermal fuse to blow? The potential over heat problem should be considered too..
