Thank you! Exactly what I needed! I put glass soda bottles in the freezer and they exploded because I forgot them in there! 😅 so I really needed to clean under the bins and all around the freezer.

Doing warranty work for a high rise. They had about 150 of them. Other than a few belts no early sealed system failures while under warranty (as it should be). But most the time it would just be customer dissatisfaction due to dry times

I believe your Fluke 177 has a lowZ option to measure voltage under a small load. Was the problem in this case inside the appliance or in a wrongly installed wall outlet?

Fluke 117 and yes it does but I wanted to show off my old skool wiggy. 😎 The problem was a reverse polarized outlet.

Very gald I came across your video. I believe I found the source for my LE error code. On the very bottom of the wirring harness where it splits and goes into two connections and under the washer. The baby blue wire is broken, and the black wire next to it is chaffing. How would be the best way about going to repair this? Space is limited. Flip dishwasher over to see if I can gain access to wiring harness?
@AppliantologyOrg
@AppliantologyOrg 3 күн бұрын
Yeah, the wiring harness is tight. Might be able to use a crimp on butt connector.
@J_MiZz37
@J_MiZz37 3 күн бұрын
@AppliantologyOrg that's what I am thinking. I just hope I can gain access to the rest of the harness from underneath. Planning on flipping it and disassembling. Where it's at I won't be able to repair it unless I remove the harness. Thanks for the reply.

How did you wire up the replacement condenser fan motor? I bought a similar one today and noticed that my fridge only has a blue, orange, and green wire. My new condenser fan motor did not come with instructions unfortunately.
@tyronenelson9124

The yellow wire is normally the speed signal coming from the fan, and this is also used to sense whether the fan is running or not.

How was that jumped? What was used to supply power?
@AppliantologyOrg
@AppliantologyOrg 4 күн бұрын
I used the green jumper wire in the video to jump the 12 VDC supply (red wire) to the PWM speed signal line (yellow wire) and “trick” the motor into thinking that the computer was telling it to run full speed. I used a DC power supply to supply the 12 VDC ($40 at Amazon).

Pulled hard and the handle came off on one side! S o need to try to make freezer warmer if I can get the control panel to change - just don't know whether to go up or down to make it warmer

If it's a 2 phase compressor, what do you think about tying it into the power to the compressor? That way, the fan only comes on the compressor turns on.
@brianrose5169
@brianrose5169 22 күн бұрын
You could even do it on the board itself, with standoffs: also I would and a relay.
@AppliantologyOrg
@AppliantologyOrg 22 күн бұрын
Look at the schematic at about 1:25 into the video. This is not a 120 VAC split ohase compressor. It is a 3-phase compressor that’s run by an inverter. So picking power off the compressor was not an option.

Is it common for the inverter board to go multiple times or would there be an underlying issue? Customer had their inverter board replaced in December. It's June and they're having the same problem. I changed the condenser fan, I've checked the DC and AC voltage, resistance on the compressor is consistent across all leads... Could it be the inverter again? Or possibly a surge issue that's taking out the inverter? I'm lost.
@AppliantologyOrg

Need to make sure you're getting your 120 VAC supply and the low DC voltage PWM signal both at the inverter. Need to also make sure ALL your thermistors are in spec, including the evap thermistor.

My bosch she65t55uc/02 dishwasher wont release the soap pod during the cycle. I changed out the soap/rinse aid dispenser thinking it was the solenoid maybe went bad. However the new one does not work either. I was told that I need to run a diagnostics test to determine which part is the issue. How would I go about running a diagnostics test on my dishwasher?
