Doing warranty work for a high rise. They had about 150 of them. Other than a few belts no early sealed system failures while under warranty (as it should be). But most the time it would just be customer dissatisfaction due to dry times

Great Video. As a HVAC guy for 33 years and appliance servicer for 15 in NW Florida, I wonder how much heat load is added to the home from the post condenser air. I also work on heat pump pool heaters and heat pump water heaters so the refrigeration circuit and components are not that new to me. I see the occasional condensing air ventless dryer but I have yet to condensing/heat recovery dryer like this using refrigerant. Thankfully? maybe? I might like to see one for curiosity sake...

Great question about the added heat load to the house from the condenser. Based on the size and type of system (small cap tube system) it seems like the heat load would be about that of a large refrigerator.

Be interesting to see how long the evap stays clean of lint unless I missed something… also unit has gotta weigh a ton compared to gas or electric dryers.
