Grandmaster John Nunn talks about one of his books, Solving in Style, recently released in an expanded print version. He shows three positions from the book and gives you the chance to find the answer before he explains the solution.

Are the photos included in the print version?

Yes, they are. In the Kindle version they are in colour but in the print version they are monochrome.

In the first example I don't understand why rba1 followed by ra5+ wouldn't work?

1 Rba1 is met by 1...c5! and the king can move to b4. This is given in the printed book, but in the video I didn't have time to mention all the details!

Thank you for the quick reply! Currently enjoying working through the Desert Island Chess Puzzle Omnibus but solving accuracy is a bit low. I'm at about a third incorrect after first two chapters from each author. I'm guessing this book might be above my current level to improve efficiently and something like Learn Chess Tactics would be better suited?

@@fkarumo3642 The standard in the Desert Island book is quite a bit higher than Learn Chess Tactics, especially the Wesley So section, so yes, I think maybe you should start with LCT.
