José Ariel Camacho Barraza was a Mexican singer-songwriter who performed in the Regional Mexican genre. He was leader of his band, Ariel Camacho y Los Plebes del Rancho and was signed to DEL Records.
Camacho rose to fame at the young age of 22, after his smash hit "El Karma" spread across social media during 2013. However, after Camacho's death, his fame would reach heights never previously imagined. Watch along as I cover the life & death of Ariel Camacho, and the aftermath that follows between JG Music & DEL Records.

I was in high school when this guy first came out. Everybody was bumping he’s hit El Karma in Southern California. 2013-2015. Still bump he’s music till this day. Rest In Peace Ariel.

Can’t believe I barely found this channel.. been watching a few of your videos! And yeah, I was in 7th grade when Ariel died. I heard his music pretty often after his death here in south Texas ... sad that most of these artists “blow up” after death. And I agree with a previous comment I read, he seemed to have started a guitar wave in the USA... or at least in my local neighborhood. A lot of my takuache buddy’s started to play guitar soon after.

You might’ve looked over the fact that Jose Manuel replaced Ariel originally in JG Music but the group held a contest to hire a new vocalist on a Mexican TV Show to sing along side Jose Manuel, his name being Johnny Cortes. This prompted many to believe Jose Manuel had plans to leave to which he responded that he wouldn’t but would soon part ways with the group anyway, going back to DEL Records and Angel del Villar stating that Angel was the one who initially believed in him and he did not want to turn his back to him. This now leaves Johnny Cortes as the face of Los Plebes del Rancho de Ariel Camacho who have since not really been a charting hits band in mexico they have declined, not majorly but are just one band amongst the rest instead of standing out the way they used to. Jose Manuel surprisingly had lots of success at the beginning being the new face of the Group. I know this doesn’t pertain so much to Ariel’s legacy anymore but I figure its something worth noting.

I don’t kno much about JG music but there is some bad people over in Del records I personally don’t even really like most music nowadays I like those late 2000s corridos and midway through 2010s ones current groups I still kinda like are Grupo Firme and Grupo Codiciado.
