The man, the adulterer was also dimed out to get his just rewards. You're so ready to defend any bad woman that you're completely delusional to the point of being insane. PS. Men got it JUST as bad and oft times worse then the woman when adultery was found out. Including half of if not all o f his things taken, and being beaten by the men in the woman's family as well as being cast out of the village, city.

I was a night auditor for 6 years and would be alone from the time housekeeping left around 5pm till security got there at 11:30pm (weird front desk hours). During that time, I filled the role of front desk, night audit, maintenance, laundry staff, housekeeper and, depending on how terrible people were, security. Oh, and all without a cordless phone bc the GM decided that it made us "too lazy" and that it was better to interrupt every single thing I was doing in the back (usually finishing laundry for the day) to go up to the desk to answer the phone, there. When most of the time, it was just questions I could answer while folding sheets. OR if I had to visit a room for maintenance/hskp/security reasons, I would just have to pray that no one would try to ring me at the desk and/or call the phone. And I trained upwards of 60 people during my time, there. Hotels are always so different at night. People are at their worst that late, and it's stressful as all hell. Aspen Suites Hotels and Aptel Extended Stays can rot.

The back in time theme gave me an idea. Around Christmas, you could do a Nativity skit where there just isn't any room in the Inn, but because you are the Hospitality QUEEN, you offer Mary and Joseph the stable if they will take it.

When I first became Hotel Manager, the location was a (very) run down Tilton (a franchise). Three months in, the entire building was gutted, renovated and turned into a Barriott. As the end of the renovation neared, we started taking guests again. A particular couple tried to check in for their once a week....umm...ritual. When they found out rates had increased from 130 a night to 300 a night they got sticker shock and never returned.
