The state of the game is insane. I'm seeing cheaters every day now and DDOS game servers crashing the game.

So fun fact about that Xenon guy, he got quite famous in the tf2 community for being a closet cheater and after a while he quit tf2 entirely after he and his friends got embarassed and stomped in 5v5 tf2 competitive, a year later and he’s 5 stacking with all of his friends and cheating in another 5v5 shooter Some things never change

I never in my 7 years of playing this game I thought I’d see not only a full stack of cheaters but a winton/rein+mercy cheat

I realised almost as soon as I started playing OW2 that I subconsciously camera swing with Rein, as it's what I've done with every melee weapon in any first person game that has one. To see this 'Masters' Rein not do that is embarrassing, but also makes me feel a little better about my own skills

I am starting to understand why climbing is so hard now. If all the really terrible players are cheating and playing in Masters then all the good players get knocked down a rank or two... yeah that makes sense.

Was in a discord server (before I got found out and kicked) where people were claiming that they can unban accounts. I didn't have any banned accounts so I couldn't test their claims, but that may be a reason we are seeing the sharp increase of cheaters these last few months.

Its insane that you can cheat on pharah now, that would be so much harder to detect than a hitscan character. The fact that the cheat seems to be working better on pharah than it is on the widow is also insane

Yup…this game feels so awful and not fun and I felt like it was overnight I started seeing cheaters be more blatant and our experience went from not great…to worse…. It’s honestly gross that they don’t seem to care cause I think the cuts to OW were a bit more drastic than we could see, especially to their QA and security teams. I am also wondering since Microsoft took over blizzard, it drew more attention to their products and they could see all the “openings” in their company and took advantage that.

I slowed down the video at a part with the Ana, and I saw two things. 1. At 24:24, the Ana was aiming at the Sojourn and the Pharah got in the way, then fired like it was going to hit the Sojourn, making it seem as it was intended to hit the Pharah instead of Sojourn. 2. At 24:31, AT THE EXACT MOMENT when the Mercy died, the Ana directly started to aim to heal the Pharah (Not the Sigma) that was low on health, as if they had to focus on healing the Pharah when she got low, then went directly to healing the team afterward as usual.

Something I've noticed about cheaters as well, most often it seems like they have an auto-melee once their targeted enemy is within a certain distance of them, likely a cheat to try ensure they finish off enemies as they aimbot shoot and run towards them. At about 35:22 and the seconds after the tank he tried meleeing the Bap when he was close, then tried meleeing the Mercy as she flies past. Idk about you but that reaction time seems a liiiiiittle bit fast considering the time it'd take to realise then react by pressing the melee button. He just notably presses it at almost every time someone comes within range, and maybe also if they are low enough health, even though he tries when they're at least above 25%

A five stack is crazy. I've recently played against someone who was getting rolled bad 0-12 missing everything then all of a student they started hitting all their shots and getting kills.

17:14 when the ana locked onto the divas center mass when shooting did it for me surprisingly no one caught that.

This is the SAME stack I ran into in one of my quickplay games and now knowing they're doing this in comp as well makes this feel so much worse

As much as this may be a hot take... I feel like the cheating issue is very much a side effect of the game being in a 'Free-To-Play' model in that there really isn't any financial repercussions on any of them when they get caught. Games like Warzone, Fortnite and Halo: Infinite have similar issues because they all have pretty bad cheater problems and they have an anti cheat that's really not great. The only way the infection ends is if you start to hurt the wallet in ways that's not financially worth it

I think at 43:50 the Ana was trying to sleep the cassidy ult, but it auto-locked onto the gold orisa

I had a game yesterday where the match was about to end. Everyone "froze" the people on the teams switched around and the map changed. We were all so confused but im sure it was a cheaters doing. How they changed the map and teams around is crazy.

Ive played against cold the tank forsure in season 11, diamond 3supp and it was a plat 1-diamond 1 game, id have to check to see if its the same dps but i honestly feel like no solo players should ever get matched against a 5 stack even if its a narrow group, the amount of games at the end of season 10 and now at the beginning of season 11 that ive faced 5stacks as a solo player is just stupid, ill be the only one in voice on my team so its just a hard diff at that point cause of the lack of communication

I played against people like this. They go Winston and just dive anyone who's able to target the Pharmercy. Pretty similar picks if not SPOT on. It's always Winston, Pharah, A sniper (Widow or Hanzo), Mercy, and an Ana. Seems like they're using this meta to boost. It's always the Mercy talking the most and in denial of the actual rank they're placed in

I played against a 5 stack of cheaters in quickplay once. All new accounts so chances are they were either grinding to unlock comp to cheat or planned on selling the accounts. The satisfaction of reading the messages when they all got banned one after the other 😂

I wonder if the Ana whiffing the shots against enemies is due to the shots being different for allies and for enemies. The projectile is around 3x larger for allies, and the cheats may be calibrated for that instead.
