I have an extremely hard time sympathizing with anyone who would trust somebody with a history like Sam Pepper's. The first thing I thought when I heard he was involved with this scam was "wasn't this the guy who pretended to kidnap and shoot his friend and then posted it on KZfaq?" Coffee's earliest video on save the kids was dropped Jun 24, the token launched Jun 4th. If Kay was sincere, I imagine he would've figured out what Sam did and had time to call him out, or do SOMETHING, before Coffee and Muta came out with their videos. Yet he mentions none of this. In fact, one would imagine he would've been cooperative with Muta or Coffee, at least not send a cease and desist to Coffee, if he had been completely taken advantage of. No, he was definitely complicit in some of this.

No, it was calculated. He was trying to wrap himself of the PR nightmare he was going through by basically trying to find a scapegoat or a fall guy to take the heat from him. They have brain function, but I wouldn't say they have common sense because without presenting the proper evidence and throwing someone under the bus, that whole attempt at pointing the finger at someone else can simply be defeated with "no u". This whole situation has boiled down to a children's game of pointing fingers at the playground after their parents found out that they took the cookies from the jar. This is the kind of dumb shit that you can expect from people this rich that get caught with their pants down in some dirty deeds-- It's like they're so detached from reality that they think by shifting blame to someone else, they will be rid of all the repercussions.
