I'm glad that you guys hated the way that they killed off Rachel as well. Michael was originally supposed to shove the scissors down her throat, but the actress made them change that because it was too undignified for Rachel. If she has to be killed they should have at least had her fight back or save Jamie or something instead of doing her dirty like that.

The director apparently got "into it" when Michael was in the burning car and forgot to say cut. Jaime's actress and her stunt double nearly got hit by the car a few times as well, since the director told Michael to floor it, despite not being able to see in the fog.

4 was originally going to open with the Hospital from 2, with the camera going through hallways, with Loomis and Laurie's confrontation with Michael playing in the background, only for Loomis to be shown blasting through a wall from the explosion.

The director of this movie didn't care about continuity or answering questions at all. He fundamentally misunderstood this franchise and, if I'm not mistaken, didn't really want to make a "Halloween" film. I mean, he inexplicably turned the Myers house into a Victorian Mansion, lmao. Dominique Othenin-Girard came up with the Man in Black (the man in the boots) on a whim, midway through production, and didn't care to explain his presence or reason for being there at all, or why he had a strange symbol on his wrist. He really just came in, messed up the series' lore, didn't answer any questions left by the last film, just created more loose ends for the next guy to attempt to tie up. Sigh, lol. Justice for Tina, though, sis was a real one. Also, in this timeline, Laurie is dead.

Jaime's friend at the clinic did survive whatever happened, they just couldn't bother to schedule him coming back. Think of it as the man in black did a drive-by at the clinic as a distraction.

Regarding the new Halloween movie that is coming out, there's only four movies that matter in that new timeline. Halloween 1978 (the original first one,) Halloween 2018 (supposed to be a direct sequel to the OG,) Halloween Kills 2021 and Halloween Ends 2022.

A couple of fun facts: Halloween 5 was literally rushed into production before a script could be completed or perfected. In an interview with Fangoria Magazine shortly before his death, while hyping Halloween 6, Donald Pleasance referred to Halloween 5 as "rubbish". In the scene where Dr. Loomis is beating the hell out of Michael Myers with that board, Donald Pleasance actually broke Don Shanks nose. That is NOT the freaking Myers house. (Sorry, had to get that joke in)

I'm super late to comment, but FUN FACT: In the DVD commentary, Don Shanks (the stuntman who plays michael) said that during the car scene where he crashes into a tree, he didn't have his fire gear because it was supposed to be a quick cut as soon as the car crashed, but the director was so stunned by how well the scene turned out that he forgot to yell cut, and the fire was already going over Don Shanks's head but finally at the last second The producer shouted at the director to "Hurry up and yell cut" Luckily he wasn't hurt, but i wanted to point that out because sometimes we forgot there's an actual human being underneath the costume taking beatings for our entertainment LOL

Daniell Harris ( Jamie) was the best starring actress in the series since Donald Pleasence (Dr Loomis) and Jamie Lee Curtis ( Laurie Strode). I was so impressed with her at such a young age, she carried the films she was in. Shes still a great actress, I don't think she's in the new 2018 2021 Halloween films. Which is really a shame, she cemented her place in the franchise and the genre with her performance. But she is in the Rob Zombie version, I'm not sure if it's his 1st or 2and, but it was cool that he put her in it. She's a fan favorite.

Halloween 4 was my fav sequel to the original until the 2018 Halloween! Michael was moving Swift & showing his cunning Ninja like skills, riding in backseat of police car in order to get to the house where Jamie & Rachael were was witty. Also Michael rocking in the chair holding the rifle like the policeman was before he killed the sheriff's daughter. Rooftop scene was good. Halloween 4>> Halloween 5.. Halloween 4 Good comeback after trash Halloween 3 without Michael.

Watch the next film, Halloween 6 The Curse Of Michael Myers. It gets more indepth in the mythology of what makes Michael Myers who he is. Halloween 4-6 is consider part of the Thorn trilogy since they all connect somehow. Although it tries to explain the evil behind MM, it's not a great story line. But it's worth watching cuz of the kills. I'm a big Michael Myers fan. He my man. Halloween 6 is hella fun. It's considered to be one of the worst but it's a bit darker and very gory with the kills. Watch it and keep up the good work.

Halloween 3 has nothing to do with Michael or Laurie it’s a complete different story. They was originally killing off Michael at the end of Halloween 2 in the fire and tried to branch off to a new story which is Halloween 3. People wanted Michael back so that’s when Halloween 4 come. Halloween 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 is all connected. After Halloween 6 they came out with Halloween H20….. Now H20 is a sequel to the first Halloween and maybe Halloween 2 from 1981. After H20 a sequel was made which was Halloween Resurrection. After Halloween Resurrection it’s the 2 Rob Zombie remakes and after them Halloween 2018 and Halloween Kills. Halloween 2018 is only a direct sequel to the first original Halloween and Halloween Kills is a sequel to Halloween 2018. After Halloween Kills they will drop one more sequel which is Halloween Ends the sequel to Halloween Kills.

Damn that sucks about Halloween 4, that is maybe the best sequel out of all of them. So far which sequel did you like the most? OK, this is one that fans think of as one of the worst sequels, but there is lost footage that was uncovered like 3-4 years ago. A new beginning they shot, and in the middle of the movie Myers wades through a swat team as they shoot him destroying them terminator style. They just came out with a new 4K blu ray of Halloween 5, and they put the new beginning in it, but I don't think they put the swat team scene in it. Also Loomis was drunk shooting the movie. Danielle harris said he was so cool, but always reeked of booze lol.

Though a downer we lost the Halloween 4 reaction cool ya enjoyed the movie, for many Halloween 5 is either ok or sucks, the goofy music with the cops was just ridiculous, we'd have to wait years after the cliffhanger with the man wearing black.

Well, Halloween 4 & 5 & 6 Laurie is legit dead. But H20 retconned Halloween 4-6. H20 is a direct sequel to Halloween II, and Resurrection is a direct sequel to H20. Then Halloween 2018 retconned all of it. It is a direct sequel Halloween 1978. Halloween II through 8 are no longer official canon.

The Halloween timeline is very confusing because John Carpenter only did the first one. John Carpenter never wanted to make Laurie's Michael sister. Halloween 3 is a stand-alone movie and has nothing to do with the timeline. The fourth, fifth, and sixth movies have their own storyline. The Rob Zombie remakes are trash and not worth it.

Danielle Harris was the best parts of this franchise. Did you guys react to Halloween 4? That is by far my FAVORITE Halloween movie out of all of the sequels, remakes and reboots. Nothing compares to H4's creepy feeling that Michael's always watching. By far the best Michael of the franchise. Because he was like a ghost. The mask was like emotionless. That was the only Myers that's ever scared me. Halloween 5 isn't as bad as most claim. It is filled with very bad writing, characters and script. Rachel should of never died. But the fact that Danielle Harris and Donald Pleasence carried this movie, saved it and made it watchable. Danielle Harris kind of has a habit of coming into horror franchise sequels nowadays lol. First came into the Hatchet series in Hatchet II. See No Evil 2. This scarecrow slasher movie that I seen, she came in part 2. Laid To Rest 2 aka Chromeskull. YOU GUYS NEED TO WATCH THE HATCHET SERIES. She is a fucking badass in that series. Hatchet is filled with nods to horror icons and actors from the infamous movies plays in that series such as Kane Hodder, Robert Englund, Tony Todd, Danielle Harris, Derek Mears, Sid Haig, ect.

Best costume I had for Halloween night was when I dressed as a ninja 🥷🏻 for three time once at 8, another time at nine, and last time was when I was 11 years old. Worst costume 7 years old my mom got me the red power ranger costume I had a mask and I was gonna wear it but some selfish little girl from the family that lived next door to us years ago, stole my mask I followed her around her backyard ( our family’s were close good friends ) and keep yell and politely asking from my mask back well she tripped fall I help her out because I was raised to be a gentleman and good human being in life. So I asked her was she okay she sniff said yah but the said this that really set me off to are you beeping kidding me angry kid mode at the time. “ I accidentally got spit in the mask when I fall.” My response was,” okay I was gonna recycle the plastic face mask anyways.” but inside my head I was yelling as my anger rage power plant in my brain was having a meltdown inside. So yah worst costume I had for Halloween night was at seven years old the red power ranger suit. Take care everyone and stay safe out there. Ps, that family moved to another town or state a year later so never had to deal with their selfish daughter ever again. You want answers to why the Halloween franchise is a mess. Bare with me this here lets start at the very beginning. John Carpenter only intended for Michael Myers being in the very first movie only. Then he was done with him the movie studio made Halloween 2 about Michael Myers. John Carpenter only worked on that movie because he was legally obligated by his contract. The he figured it would be made either way so he might as well get some extra money from it for a change. But mainly because he had to it was in his contract. So thats why when John Carpenter wrote the script for Halloween 2. He ended it like he did with the hug explosion then Michael Myers being set on fire then being left to burn. That was John Carpenter's way of killing off Michael Myers. For good permanently no more coming back end of story for Michael Myers. That leads to Halloween 3 Season of the Witch the same guy that made. Halloween 2 about Michael Myers made them call it Halloween 3 Season of the Witch. In order to get funding for the movie. The movies director would have preferred the movie just be called Season of The Witch. But the movie studio would not fund the movie with that titile. So they called it Halloween 3 season of the Witch just to get the movie funded. But the movie studio even tried to interfere and change the movies ending. But the movies director would not change it and John Carpenter's backed him up. So the movie studio lost that Bettle. Then the guy that made them call it Halloween 3 season of the Witch. Knowing fully ahead of time it had nothing to do with Michael Myers. But still made them make it a part of that movie franchise by making them call it Halloween 3 in order to get funding. He had the nerve to criticize them in interviews. He said it was stupid for them not to have Michael Myers in it when it was called Halloween 3. When he made them call it Halloween 3 with. Full knowledge of it having nothing to do with Michael Myers. He seriously question their storytelling an the direction they took it. So after that that guy said I want Michael Myers in Halloween 4. To John Carpenter thats when John Carpenter sold this part of the rights to. Halloween and Michael Myers then just walked away. Unitll Halloween 2018 wich leads to Halloween 4 the ending that the director intended. Was you see Michael Myers get killed at the end Michael Myers is dead he is no more. Sound familiar from Halloween 2. But the evil force or whatever left Michael Myers then went into Jamie. She was supposed to be the new Michael Myers implying that you can't kill evil. It will just find a new host but after John Carpenter left an sold his rights that one. Guy that made Halloween II about Michael Myers as well as made them call it Halloween 3 to get it funded. Now about Jamie since they Undead the whole she's the new Michael Myers angle. They had to do something so she just stabed her stepmother or whatever. Then had it so she just could not speak and would have. Seizures and sees what Michael Myers sees when he kills people. Does it make sense no but the guy that had the rights to Halloween. Didn't care in the lest because Michael Myers was alive and he was killing people. That's all he cared about the story doesn't matter as long as Michael Myers is Left Alive in end. To kill more people in the next movie. Remember that going forward story doesn't matter as along as Michael Myers is Left Alive to kill people. In the next movie he did every little dirty trick Michael Myers live. Wich cost him a lot of money in Halloween resurrection. Because Jamie Lee Curtis only agreed to return to Halloween H2O or how many 20 years later. Lets just say Halloween H2O Halloween 20 years later. Was supposed to be the last Halloween movie once again. But since she was lied to Jamie Lee Curtis only came back for Halloween resurrection for. A huge price If I remember correctly something like $3,000 for 30 minutes. But she ended up getting more money because she was init longer. Because the movie studio mainly that guy. Once again he changed the ending to Halloween H2O. That's all I will say there's no movie spoilers just the original intent of director. Of Halloween H2O 20 years later. The best part is according to Jamie Lee Curtis he donated all the money she made from being in Halloween resurrection. To various charities so she got a lot of money to donate to good causes for hardly any work. So in the end this movie franchise it's a complete mess because of one man. Who just wanted to make money off of Michael Myers.
