In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.

In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don't always put a positive spin on humans\humanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

That is, at the same time, one of the most lovely stories I've ever heard; one of the FUNNIEST stories I've ever had the absolute pleasure of listening to; and one of THE BEST "HFY" stories I've come across. Humans have become so bad-ass that we're teaching AI machines to actually be sapient and feeling through... music. And gardening. Oh my... I'm listening to that again! Edit: oh, and this part absolutely killed me: 'My ship? nah. she's barely a Battlecruiser by my standards. Federation or Imperium ships can go upwards of seventeen kilometers. Sometimes we get lazy and just strap a beam cannon and rocket engines to a planet and use that.' Dead. So dead. Need breath back.

So, I got an AI to create a song based on "To Be At Peace" and here's both the prompt and the reply: Prompt: Can you make a song that is slow and mournful as if someone's remembering past failures and brothers gone, after that it becomes pride full because of duty and honor, after that it becomes a happy and elated song, and at the end it becomes peaceful and serenity. Song: (Verse 1) In the silence of the night, a weary soul recalls, The weight of past failures, haunting through the halls. Memories of brothers gone, their presence now a ghost, A mournful melody, a lament for what was lost. Was honestly expecting a Horizon ZD and FW story continuation, that it was something Banuk in nature. Finds that it is rehabilitation and education nursery and they are teaching robots musical sign language to settle emotional quarrels via talking it out with enough time to think things through. A pretty little story

Has anyone bothered to mention, that our star (Sol) is White, not Yellow. It looks Yellow from down here, but once you clear the atmosphere, it is White.

@@Mger47TheGamePegasus Probably a little tricky, the transition to red giant tends to suppress the blue and green range of the spectrum fairly aggressively, but I have no idea exactly what might happen to colour absorption during the very early stages of the transition to red giant, so it might at least be plausible that it could favour green in the mix at some point, giving us a bit of a yellow tinge(Though to get all the way to yellow it would need to have even more green than red, or at least even amounts, so quite a long shot). Of course the opposite could also happen in that case and then we might get a purple star, which would also be fairly interesting to see.

I really hate it, if stories say something like "x new colors were found/discovered". Color are based on visual light frequencies. You cannot "discover" or "find" new frequencies, it is just a number (or combination of numbers) between the upper and lower bounds of visible light frequencies. So we already know all of the colors that exist. We may not have names for every specific combination, but that is more due to the fact, that we cannot distinguish between minor frequency changes - so there is really no need to name them.
