@@Darksaviour173 it's probably easy. The stage was already made, and the game already has teleporters. it would be like a copy and paste. As for the special stages, while we do have all the assets, this mod was really creative with them.

idk how possible this would be, but it'd be really cool if this mod could be combined with Mania Addendum in the future. having Amy playable, the time stones collectable, giving Amy a Hyper form on top of all the QoL features and improvements Addendum makes to base Mania would be so cool. these mods are the definitive way to play Mania, so combining the 2 mods would make this the best game ever

There are plans for Addendum compatibility in the future. Just note that the Time Stones will be replaced with Super Emeralds if locked on together

Sega is trying to retcon hyper because they don’t want sonic to be basically invincible in the games. he was trying to add this, they didn’t let him, you can tell visibly because in the files are several things like super emerald sprites and even the word “Hyper!” Seemingly used for the phrase “Sonic can now go hyper!”

I wish this was in the actual Sonic Manis Plus game. Imagine this being part of the Encore D.L.C? It would’ve made that D.L.C more worth it, with the addition of two more playable characters, we could’ve gotten this.

Actually in the games' unused files the text hyper was found. Along with scrapped animations of the super emeralds blickering like in s3&k. Another text was found that said 'time to escape' in the font as the special stage instructions. Hyper sonic was probably planned but considering mania is a canon game sega probably didn't let christian whitehead do it

This mod looks awesome! Finally hyper forms getting the love they deserve! Now if only we could get an extended version of the hyper song. I know it's just a remix of Fistbump, but god damn, for some reason, this makes the happy chemicals in my brain just go nuts!

Dream? This is fixing what whitehead originally planned. After collecting all 7 emeralds, you could get the super emeralds, visibly shown from the word “Hyper!” In rainbow and super emerald sprites.

Theres a mistake, all the chaos emeralds (exept the green one) special stages is in a diferente color emeralds for example: the one that were sposed to be the red emerald instead it plays the Cyan emerald special stage and after the act clear it apears red

I love that all these forms are basically what Sonic can do on his own at some point in the future Knuckles essentially being Sonic Forces air boosting, it can sometimes feel like gliding Mighty's Hyper Form basically becomes the bounce bracelet And Tails/Ray can just fly as they please (Sonic needs to be super sonic to do this but the point is still there) thats really cool (I feel like I forgot something)

gotta love how there was so much effort put in to make hyper rings, a hidden palace warp, entirely new special stages, a double-transformation, hyper dashing, and even seemingly giving different attributes to hyper sonic, yet they couldn't be bothered to try and make the powered super emeralds match the art style

@@superskullmasterI'm not sure about that. It makes using and keeping the hyper form rewarding. If being able to remain Super already shows you can be fast to collect plenty of rings and mantain your ring count, keeping Hyper shows you have mastered the game.

The hyper characters song is fist bump…I LOVE IT Also at realize something, all the hyper characters actually one ability that makes them a bit different instead of being the same character Hyper sonic: can teleport Hyper Tails: has hyper flickys which can Attack enemies Hyper Knuckles: his glider is now weirdly a weird sonic boom that when it hits a wall, every enemy or tv monitor will die that’s show on screen Hyper Mighty: his stomp is now more bounce and looks more like a quick teleport to the ground when he is high up Hyper Ray: he has glide infinitely I think does are all the changes that I saw, maybe I’m wrong

Does this mod work on the Android decomp of Sonic Mania Plus? If yes, can I activate it like any other mod(Put the mod in the RSDKv5 mods folder in ZArchiver, put the name of it in QuickEdit and say =y), or do I have to go through some coding proces?

Let me see if I got this right. Comments section and Blue Vivacity, correct me in the replies if I have anything wrong for characters' abilities in hyper form. Sonic: The mid-air dash/double jump that clears the screen, STRAIGHT out of S3&K! Tails: SUPER FLICKIES! They attack for and with you! Knuckles: Boosted gliding speed and a screen-shaking cling that defeats all badniks on-screen. Mighty: His stomp can now also clear the screen if you hold jump when he collides with the ground! Ray: You get a little more momentum each time you go upwards! This could possibly mean infinite airtime if you keep pressing right every now and then with plenty of rings... and not a lot of walls stopping you...

Huh, the emeralds in the special stages aren't always the same color as their appearance outside of them. Is the stage you get not tied to the emerald you stand on to access it?

Yknow, it would make sense if hyper sonic is in mania. If hyper sonic was the one in the true final boss, it would make sense when hyper sonic lands the final hit on eggman, the phantom ruby makes sonic turn back to normal and then send the super emeralds and sonic to another dimension.
