@@frannielmartinez I'm curious to see what actually happened to the Echidna and Owl tribes. I have a strong hunch that they did NOT in fact wipe each other out, but were wiped out by something else. Things said in the second movie set off all sorts of red flags (the biggest one being that Knuckles wasn't there and therefore didn't see the battle).

Probably more of a reference to the palette swap in Sonic 3. Knuckles turns anything Sonic blue red, and a glitch character using Knuckles's sprite and abilities but Sonic's palette is Blue Knuckles, thus the inverse - Sonic with Knuckles's palette - would be Red Sonic.

The thing is that the IDW comics still always have been canon, most especially since it’s mostly after while some during the events in flashbacks of the war in Forces, and is rather before the events of Frontiers. Since there’s no mention of the events of Frontiers that would lead up to the events of the Frontiers game.

Gosh, what a fun takeover this is! While I do feel the Macarena gag is getting old, there were a plentiful amount of highlights here! Amy being confirmed to be autistic (her tarot cards are an old hyperfixation of hers), Sonic doubling down on the strawberry shortcake slander, Eggman referencing both The Incredibles and FNAF, Knuckles accusing someone of being a cop... so many great ones! Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who found it weird that Metal Sonic didn't get mentioned when Eggman was asked what his favorite creation of his was.
