I show you an actual "mini-adventure" through a forested area in Seattle to bring the Tenba Fulton v2 14L All-Weather Camera Backpack into the wild.
In this video I take a walk through a densely grown park with tall tree canopies on a hot summer day to show the feel, use, and capacity of this unique camera backpack.
Make some popcorn, take a seat, and enjoy seeing how much stuff I pack, and see what it's like carrying camera, lenses, and gear securely with this solid and simple backpack.

Thank you so much! I’m just starting my day and you made mine so much happier with your comment! You give me encouragement to make more videos. I’m very glad you like the “in the wild” demo of the bag instead of a studio review with gear spread on a table. Thanks so much!! 😊👍🏻

Good morning to you, K LL it’s so nice to see this comment from you, a happy part of my day. It’s cool that you travel, that’s definitely something I’ve wanted to do more of lately! I’m glad you like the idea of seeing me use the pack in action. It was a lot of fun to shoot and edit this video. I’m learning a lot about making films and it’s an awesome feeling. It’s only complete when people see it, so thanks for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it and it means a lot 😊

@@tombuck Thank you so much for letting me know!! You are one of the biggest KZfaqrs who’s visited my channel, so it means a lot that my video contributed to your decision making. I really enjoy your videos, your puns and wordplay! It’s clear you’re having fun and you truly make a difference for so many viewers - helping us decide between all the photo & video gear out there - and I loved your in-depth microphone comparison video. Happy to hear you enjoy the 14L. Maybe one day you’ll get a dog companion along with your camera backpack. Peace ☮️ & Poodle Fleece 😄

I’m glad it was helpful. Let me know if you have any specific questions because I have that pack in front of me, happy to answer any camera / lens specific questions you may have. Also, just last week I made a video comparing the 14L to the 16L. If you go to my video listings it’s one I did last week called TWO TENBAS on the thumbnail. As you can see I really like the 14L because it’s so compact. I would just say if you have more than one camera body and three lenses, or if you plan on traveling for more than a few days on vacation the 16L might better fit your stuff. Thanks again for watching and especially for leaving a comment. I love to hear from people who watch my films.

@@animaldonut Just watched it since you mentioned it. That was a good comparison. It really helps to see the same amount of gear in both bags vs on their website when they just show the larger bag having more gear. I like the size of the 14 and then the camera space of the 16... but I think the 14 best suits me. I don't have too much gear. I actually liked the 10 originally but that seems a little too small to fit everything in. I appreciate the video!

I agree with you completely about the dog and thanks for your compliment about my voice. That’s so nice of you; it means a lot. Also, I appreciate your confidence in this channel growing :) I have been thinking about doing a video to show the 16L and I have been putting off doing it because it’s a lot of work! But now that you left such an awesome comment I will make that video today. I shot an unboxing video of the 16L and will upload it tomorrow morning, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Then, after that I’ll fill the 16L with gear and compare it to the 14L so you can see exactly how much you can stuff in it. I hope this will help you imagine how the S5 with a cage might fit. Thanks again for your feedback, it’s my inspiration and motivation to film today.

I love everything about this. Bravo. That bag really does hold a lot! Roll-top bags are my favorite. I also find myself examining the light in any given situation. And I have one of those SSDs, boy is it fast! I also enjoyed the philosophy bit - gotta keep our priorities at the forefront. Video showed up second in my feed when I opened the app. I'll bet this was fun to plan and shoot. Golly you're brave for walking so far from the camera!

Thanks for loving this film: you inspired me to make it. If it weren't for you I would not have explored the outdoors with this camera. I'm happy to hear you examine the light in various situations. This is how artists see the world. I agree, those SSDs are so fast! I'm happy to hear this video showed up second in your feed when you opened the app! I agree about keeping our priorities at the forefront, and I say these things to remind myself. Sometimes my life and photos seem like they are getting to big, and it reminds me to keep things small (not too much stuff) so I can focus on the job at hand. It was a lot of fun to plan and shoot. I didn't do a ton of planning. The hardest part was getting out the door and doing it. I thought about it ever since I read your comment, but the desire to do it perfect really kept me from starting. I believe this is a problem many people have: photographers, artists, even pro athletes. I just finished the tennis player Andre Agassi's autobiography, OPEN, and he talks about how he used to try to be perfect, and it held him back. He became a more complete player when he strived to be consistently good instead. Your encouragement nudged me forward to try something I was afraid of, and it was a lot of fun. I thank you for watching these videos and commenting. You're helping me become a better filmmaker!

@@loganl.andrew4459 I like what you wrote about how one must be imperfect many times before they can know what perfect means. I especially like that you linked that to trading / investing. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm for that video. I'm glad it was fun to watch and you didn't notice how long it was. You inspired me to hit the road and explore the outdoors. I will not stop the indoor videos - I'm glad you like them as well. Thanks for loving my style, it totally means a lot to me to hear that...it really helps my motivation. I just finished doing a comparison video of the 14L to 16L. A couple people asked for a comparison, and I was totally lazy about it. But today I decided to make the video, and I think people who love photography and these bags will find it useful. I just had to start the project and I found it tons of fun. Really loved shooting it and I can't wait to edit and upload. First I'm going to upload a video I shot a couple weeks ago but never uploaded. It's an unboxing of the 16L. I bought that months ago but promptly returned it because I figured I'd only use the 14L, but I'm finding I need to take more gear with me to my assignments, and I like these Tenba bags a lot, so I bought it again. So, you'll see that unboxing video first, and then a day or two later you'll see my new comparison video. Thanks for your comments, they're always a nice surprise in my day.

Hi, Jeff. I am expecting my 14L bag, today. I'm anxious to get my gear in it and take it on an Alaska cruise, in a couple weeks! I switched from Canon to Sony (a7iv), this spring and I'm still getting used to the new system. I just got the Sigma 100-400 f/5-6.3 lens and I'm really liking it, so far. I also have a Sony 20mm f/1.8 G, and a Sony 24-105 f/4 G. those 3 lenses should let me capture everything I want, i.e., landscapes, cityscapes, etc.. Thanks for the in-depth review of this bag!🤘🏼

Hi, Brian. That’s so cool you’re expecting your bag…maybe it’s already arrived and you’re starting to arrange your gear for the cruise! 🚢 Where will you travel? That’s cool you have a telephoto zoom up to 400 and also a wide angle and a mid-range zoom. I had a 24-105 with my Canon set-up and never replaced that with my Sony a74. I love the camera too! I think you’ll have it all covered with those lenses!! How did you find my channel? As you know, I just started it this year with the goal of doing mainly investing videos, but many of my viewers are also photographers and these backpack videos have got a lot of views. I glad you stopped by and grateful for your comment. Have a wonderful weekend!! 😊📷🏆

I love the a74. The autofocus is fast. It's light, feels good in my hands, and the video quality is perfection. I love the ease of switching from photo to video. I also like how it remembers your favorite photo and video settings (you customize them) so when you switch back and forth you don't have to mess with them. You have a lot more experience with digital cameras, so other things may appeal to you. I'm a Nikon fan too: my first pro camera was the F3 and it was a workhorse!

If you bring more than 3 lenses or more than 1 body along on your shoots, the 16L is going to be better. I just shot a video yesterday that I’ll edit today comparing the 14L to 16L. I love the 14L for its small size because it’s so easy to carry around, but ngl the 16L is not that much bigger, and it carries a ton more! I love the a74 because the AF is so much faster than my last DSLR (Canon 80D) and it’s all around a different breed of camera. I have no complaints! Some people have said they wish Sony had used a more high res display screen on camera back. I did not even KNOW they had higher quality displays, but if I did (or had one on another Sony) I might be displeased. I think you may have one of those gorgeous displays on your cameras, so if you appreciate it then it might be a step down to get the a74. But that’s all user experience stuff, and I don’t spend a lot of time looking at the camera back. It’s a fantastic camera, using it for photo work all the time and loving the video quality too. Which of your videos is your current favorite? I’ll be sure to check it out next! Have a fantastic day!! 🏆📷😊

Great review cheers. Just bought the same bag. Love the quality & the ascetics. Just the right size in regards capacity for my camera gear etc. However it feels a bit tight when wearing it. The padded harness is too short in length. I am 5'11" & medium build. The sternum strap when worn in the correct place, ie across the middle of chest is far too tight. It could do with some sort of stretch material to aid better comfort. I wish camera bag manufacturers would incorporate adjustable harnesses to cater for different torso & body sizes. Ive now reached out to Tenba to see if the 16L has a longer harness. I imagine it will as the bag is longer. However the 14L is a nice size overall. Cheers.

Hey John, thanks for the compliment on the video and also letting me know your experience with the pack. Some sellers will give you 30 days to return if it doesn’t work for you. It’s good you let Tenba know. They put a lot of effort into the details involved in that pack, so stretch material might be something they could include in an upcoming version. If it helps, the 16L does have a waist strap too, and that may help with supporting the weight of the pack. Also, the sternum strap on 16L may be a little longer - less tight. I own one, and if you’d like I’m happy to measure it to let you know if sternum strap is longer than that of the 14L. Let me know and I’ll do that for you. Thanks again for your comment!

@@animaldonut Hi Animal, thanks for your prompt reply. I am certainly going to put by opinion to Tenba. After all thats how they can improve their products through customer feedback. Your 14L look well balanced and in proportion on your back. How tall are you if you don't mind me asking. Also yes the length of the Sternum strap on the 16L, and if possible the length of the harness from where it is sown into the bag to the end where it meets the adjustment strap. I am finding at present that where I would normally have my capture clip it is inline with the sternum strap. Not ideal. I also use a Lowpro flipside trek which is about the same size as the 16L which is fine for out trekking etc. But just a tad big for urban duties. I may end top doing a few hacks to the 14L to suit my needs. WTS...

@@lindonfc Hi there John, I’ll see what I can do to provide that info as time permits. I’m about 5’11” too and average build, so I’m not sure why your 14L doesn’t fit so well. But maybe I can get over my laziness to make a new comparison video!

Wow, that's a perceptive comment! I forgot I said that as it was a while ago, but you're absolutely right. I must have tried the 10L as my first pack. I remember it well, it was super compact and lightweight, but a bit small for my SONY A7iv and lenses. Thanks for noticing that! Yes, it was the 10L. What's your favorite camera backpack by the way? I'm thinking of reviewing some more gear because my camera backpack reviews are the most popular videos on my channel. Thanks for noticing that detail about the 10L. Nobody else mentioned that!

@@animaldonut Thanks for confirming as I'm currently in the market for an urban/travel daypack for photo gear and more. Your review was very helpful. I have one other question regarding fit. Did you find the 10L and/or the 14L to be too short in height to comfortably fit on your back? When getting fitted for hiking backpacks, one important criteria is having the bottom of the back at the hip to carry some of the weight. Otherwise, the shoulder takes the entire burden. I suppose it may not be important on a smaller, lighter pack like this without a waist belt, but was curious how it felt on your torso.
