Dave, I am considering the CRE 10, probably the E10. My hearing deficit is in my left ear. My right ear may have a little bit of deficit but not noticeable (to me at least). Some questions - 1) since they only come in pairs, can I just use the one for the left ear or are there dependencies requiring me to wear both? 2) if I wear both aids, can i set different hearing profiles for each ear? 3) Lastly, one of my hobbies is target shooting at an indoor shooting range. I wear electronic over the ear protection (shuts down loud noises but allows normal conversation otherwise). Any idea if I should remove the hearing aid(s) under this situation? I would certainly still wear my electronic ear protection. Thanks,

Hi and thank you for your comment. To your questions: You can only wear one hearing aid if you prefer that. However, nearly every hearing professional recommends wearing tow devices when having hearing loss in both ears. The hearing aid setup leads you through a hearing test for each ear individually. That's where the software checks your needed amplification and adjusts the settings for each ear separately. In the app itself, you can only adjust both hearing aids at once. When it comes to the shooting, please remove the hearing aids when you're shooting. Do you have an active ear protection that can also amplify the surrounding sounds? If you do, that might help you out in this situation. Hope that helps. Best, Dave

i'd prefer the e-10 for bluetooth and charging but are they comfy? i really really really hate "air buds" as they are sooooo uncomfortable and fall out easily. i'm wondering since the e-10's have the sleeves in your ear, will that make them more comfortable?

Hi and thank you for your comment. On my opinion the E-10 are pretty comfortable. That’s probably because of the sleeves as you mentioned, but also because of the decent design that fits well in the ear - I’m also not a big fan of earbuds but never had to fear that the E-10 fall out of my ears. Hi Dave, is e10 hearing aid is suitable for profound hearing losses?

Hi. The E10 are made for mild to moderate hearing loss. Do they might help a little, but probably won’t give you the amplification needed for optimal understanding. Best, Dave

As per the website and product information, it is NOT suitable for profound or extreme hearing loss.
