SONY DCR-SR30 Was a well made compact camera, with epic zoom abilities and night vision recording. But how well did they work?

Hi, I don't know if you'll be able to answer my question, however I recently found an old Sony handycam dcr-sr30 however I don't have any cables that come with it other then one which plugs in and charges, I really want to be able to get a cable which plugs in and. has an aux end which I can connect to my MacBook and download the videos. I cant seem to find any that fit my camera model and was wondering if you could help.

I don’t have one but Amazon are usually good when you search the model of the camera.

Hello! I have this camera and just bought the DC cable charger, however, I have no idea how to upload the videos/photos into my PC? I don't know what cable to use to connect from my computer to the Handycam. I don't have the Handycam station but just the camera and charger itself

Hi, I have a question. I know that this camera fits other lenses but i really do not know where to start. I want to screw on a fisheye lens but i dont know how to determine what lens fits. Can you guys help me please?

Sony discontinued the PMB series software and came out with the series PMH, which is NOT COMPATIBLE with DCR-SR82. Can someone direct me to a website OTHER THAN SONY'S that offers the LAST PMB software that Sony issued long ago? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. thanks for this video, i recently bought this camera 2nd hand, for 150$. I have a question: once I upload the media to my PC , do i have to delete it from the cam itself and if so how do i do it? thanks

@@aidaq7067 I connected the USB cable from the Cam's tray to my PC, then moved to the PLAY mode and choose HDD (from the touch screen) and then I got a message "connecting, keep USB cable connected" and could then see the files on my PC

150$ for such a old cam?? I always buy handycam sr series for max. 15€ shipping included and in good condition with original box etc...

I remember using a SR42 for a few years. And it wasn’t a great camera in all honesty. But my cousin did own a SR30 and it was somehow much better. (I now own a camera that is made for ACTUAL movies called the Canon HF200, it was made to mimic film and it does it really well.)
