Is it and the B1 and B1M good enough for music voice recording? Do they able to catch the sound coming from below since their mics all facing up, why facing up tho? I also thought to use the mic to do voiceover and some other things, can I connect an USB C cable from the camera to computer to use the mic? I like multi purpose things, I not sure if these mics are for me, I also consider Zoom AM7 mics to use on iPhone but I also want good audio on my future A7RV, A7RV already have good mic isn't it?

B1M vs M1 Which one is better? B1M has 8 microphones and 3 pick up patterns. M1 has only 4 microphones but 8 pick up patterns. Which one is better in sound? Which would you keep?

in all the samples b1m sounds better richer and fuller than the 1m. i got the b1m and its great. the m1 has the form factor and more patterns as advantages though
