Well the 49mm filter thread seems to be their common size for their more compact lenses (aka the 28mmf2, and the 35mmf2.8) so for keeping in theme I think it's perfect. Wouldn't even make sense to have a 67mm or larger diameter for a compact lens I'm guessing lol. And I love that they kept them all the same size, unlike sigmas new L lineup which seem like they varied from lens to lens

What do you think of of getting it for the zv e10? I like how compact it is. I will be mainly using it for youtube sit-down studio set up. Which of the three will you recommend for a youtube set up with the zv e10?

Great video -- thinking ima snag the 40mm for A7C. One thing to note is you said the 24mm is smaller than 40/50mm but I'm not sure you realized you had the lens hood on the 40&50mm? Its an odd shape so it might not have looked obvious but from Sonys spec sheet they are all identical size

Great review of those new Sony Lenses Sidney! Just a little feedback for your next video make sure to keep an eye on your audio. The sound got a bit distorted in the Great for Gimbals clip. Hope that helps! Loved that bit of editing magic in the intro BTW!

The compact Sony Zeiss lenses 35mm 2.8 and 55mm 1.8 also have 49mm filter, so it makes very good sense to have 49mm on these new lenses :) Though I never use filter on my lenses ;)

On paper I was thinking to pick up the new 50mm, but when I saw the footage from the 40mm.... ooh now I'm torn. Looks SO good. Thanks for the solid review, man!

Those look awesome! I just purchased a 16-35 GM yesterday, haven't been able to test it out cause I actually don't have a camera yet 🙃 but going to order the A7C today.

@@SidneyDiongzon Thanks! So since I already have the 16-35 2.8 would you stick with the 28-60 kit lens or they have a package deal with the 20mm 1.8 lens, it's a $500 difference. Mainly shooting realestate. Thoughts? Thx!!!

@@InfinityShotsRealty That 28-60mm is garbage. Get a prime lens with a longer focal length like 50mm or 85mm since you already cover 16-35mm. Hope this helps!

You just made a video about buying again the ZVI but you already have the a7s3 and the a7C as well? So which one is a better B cam? Zv1 or a7C for you?

Wish these had a faster aperture tbh, but will probably get one. I can't seem to find what I want... a 45 or 50 that is weathersealed is all I want, there's always the Sigma 50 1.4 but it's huge like a house... Used to have a Nikon 50 1.4G and that was not a lot bigger than these ones, and similar price range. Seem suddenly they can't make compact, fast primes? 🤷‍♂️

Oh i am just about to order the Sony A7C and i will be filming youtube videos, food videography and also still photo. What lenses should I get . Can the sigma 24-70 /2,8 cover all those areas for a start?

Gosh that 80s music though just excites me every time I hear it....gosh I need to get epidemic just 80’s music. Fantastic review bro! I like The Simpsons throw in there funny stuff. I agree I don’t really like the filter size personally if I wanted a compact lens I would just get the 35 mm 1.8 because that lens is pretty darn small and is a great lens for the price. But kudos to Sony just flooding the market with products!

I just stick to my Samyang lenses from their Tiny series 18mm.f.2.8 and 35mm.f.1.8 and 45mm.f.1.8 plus 75mm.f.1.8, although Sony lenses are also small and light, I still prefer that aperture and the wide-angle lens Samyang offers!
