Does your tv have a black screen when it turns on? Well the issue could need a reset, if this still does not fix the issue you may need to replace the backlights.

I'm having the exact same issue with my tv, it's the same model as the one in the video. It randomly stops working and then comes on. I just bought a new one as I couldn't see any picture for couple of days, and now it works fine 😏

Have the same issue. Had 6 blinking lights Replaced all backlight led strips. Powdered on beautifully. Went to mount on wall. Powered on problems showed up. One white line in middle and reddish line way at top. Some of the screen Was a bit dark but functioned. Brought down opened it checked everything, now screen is completely black no image. Led's are on but they cycle from bright to low then normal then cycle. I'm getting ready to replace either t con board or main. Any clue or help will be greatly appreciated

My tv wasn’t turning on… had 6 blinks what got it on was I pushed the probes INTO the 2 led wires (+/-) WHILE tv was powered on and plugged into the board… now I get it to turn on but I have a purple tint all throughout the screen . The leds are glowing purple. Is this the led problem or power supply board?

My initial issue was video images being overtly blue. I attempted all video setting changes and verified led strips needed to be replaced. I replaced all 10 strips. After reassembling tv It will now not turn on (no led light). Being that the power board was fine before my led replacement what would you suggest. I did unplug the led power indicator during this and it is currently plugged back in. Also the power cord was removed internally and was definitely reconnected. Thank you. and I will connect on FB for $support

use led tester to inject votlage to the led strips from the power supply see if they light up. check voltaged on mainboard 5v standby?

tighten the screws check the cables etc.

Hi, I had similar issues. I opened the tv and I believe the wire that controls the remote in the back of the TV, I accidentally disconnected. I can’t figure out where it goes and how to reconnect it. Any guidance or advise on reconnecting it?

it will go to the mainboard

Thank you. One end goes to the mainboard and that is connected. What about the other end?

@@iJUdofia there would be a small connector on the front plastic panel where the IR receiver is.

I have the same model but a 55 in. My screen won’t come on. The green light will come on for a few seconds then I’ll get a blinking red light. It blinks 6 times then pauses in between each set of 6 blinks. I’ve tried resetting it multiple times. The resetting worked the first couple times but now it doesn’t. Any ideas?

@@NewsonsElectronics I had the same thing. When tested backlight, the strips gave a blue tinted light. I replaced all 10, checking them at every step, making sure they give steady white light. After assembly the issue still persists. How do I check the power board?

When i turn on the sony 55x8505c i have a white light for a few seconds then white light suddenly dissapears. The screen itself is black all the time. I tried the hard factory reset method with usb stick firmwarre and ethernet cable. After 30 sec of holding down - and power button i get green light flashing for a few seconds then nothing. My tv stopped working after i accepted an update it bugged me to do in 2017...

how did you get the TV to turn on? did you say you adjusted the Volts or just do a rest (unplug and plug back in)?

I have the exact tv...same issue...can u fix? I'll send it to you lol I'm bout ready to chuck this damn thing..sucks because it still "new", but it has major attitude probs lol
