Kinda shocked mark didnt post this on his channel.i wouldnt have found it if i wasnt searching for A1 (since i subscribed to mark but not to this channel) but thank God i did.mark videos always feel like a masterclass,even if you’re already know what you’re doing,it always nice to hear his guidance.definitely a worthy ambassador.

Have you tested the 200-600mm lens with the A1, I use it on my 7R4 which doesn't seem to pair well

Mark, great video and thank you once again for providing such a good, in depth tutorial. When you were discussing PAL, your first portrait setting (M1) was to have the camera set the aperture wide open. Is this a menu item, or do you open the lens wide open and then save all settings to M1? I have not seen a clear way to do this. Thank you again!

I only have 52 pages instead of 55 like you have listed. I assumed it was because my camera's firmware wasn't up to date, but I'm not seeing any updates on the Sony website for this A1. Thoughts?

Yeah it took me 25 minutes and a call to Sony representative to know that they removed the focus mode from the menu added a dial 😃💔

Great advice on what settings should be. But the very first step, how to establish and record a setting, could be better explained. Sony literature on this is not good and there are gaps in your explanation here. I listened to the whole video waiting to hear simple explanations of Step 1..2...3 on recording a setting and never heard it.

With the $6500 A1 and $2000 lenses, Sony needs to start putting electronic theft protection on these cameras as criminals start figuring out that these cameras around people necks held by a little strap is MEGA theft magnet and easy eBay sale for thousands of dollars. I would never use a Sony for street photography because it's just too dangerous -its like playing with a bear with a mackerel strapped to your neck.
