The memento behind Sooraj Barjatya is for the 250 days celebration of the Telugu version of HAHK called "Premalayam". It was a huge hit in Telugu as well. I still remember the entire soundtrack of both Telugu and Hindi versions that I heard 25 years back. Such a great movie. Big fan of the aesthetic sense of his films!!

I saw back to back interviews, first Karan with Rajeev, then Sooraj Ji with Anupama! So much warmth in 2nd one, I guess the new generation does not have much warmth. Sorry, I am from the old generation, but still do not have warmth, learned something today.

MPK was and is still my favourite movie.. For me, its above DDLJ, I still have the car pouch n friend cap.. I remember as a 6 Yr old I loved the colourful dupatta that bhagyashree wore.. Everything about the movie was amazing, I even crooned to its telugu dubbed songs.. Its nostalgia for me.. I literally watched the movie on videotape at least 60 times... Salman was so good in the movie so was bhagyashree..

Hum Aapke Hain Kaun is still the biggest Hit of indian film industry . Hum Aapke Hain Kaun sold 7cr + tickets on 35 screens. Baahubali 2 sold 5cr tickets on 10,000 screens. Imagine the hysteria

I watched this during my school days and was major force to fall in love with Hindi cinema since then. few memories of 90s: - Started the trend of long movie titles.. - Started the trend of song at the beginning of movie - Started the trend of 3+ hr run time - Post 1994, every year use to have one solid huge hit which use to get all the possible awards 1995 - DDLJ 1996- Raja Hindustani 1997- Dil toh Pagal hai 1998- Kuch Kuch hota hai 1999- Hum dil de chuke Sanam 2000 - Kaho na Pyar hai I am huge fan of 90s cinema, the songs etc. I know the lyrics were not that great but composition were beyond marvelous.... Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet, Sadhana Sargam, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthi, Anuradha Paudwal and many more gave us Terrific songs which we even listen to now. Each one had very distinct voice unlike today. Today's movies are on high concept, experiments etc which are great. Atleast we need to see few which are like 90s and cater to lower middle class audience. English Vinglish was path breaking where it catered to aam aadmi of India. Ayushman Khuranna's movies are slowly doing this job but i wish many more film makers can make simple movies. Also, we as audience should watch and make it a hit so that film makers get confidence to make many more. Love 90s movies and songs.

The shield behind Sooraj sir is the 250 days sheild of "Premalayam" (Telugu dubbed version of Hum aapke...). Such was the impact of the movie. A dubbed movie running for 250 days.

He is purely innocent and gentleman... Salman is very lucky🍀 and fortunate to start his career with this true legend..

And I have watched all Soorajbabus film umpteenth times....EXCEPT his last film PremRatan dhan Paayo.(only once) ..I love all his movies....and love him as a storyteller His each n every Movies have changed me as a person..... As a man, son and husband. MAINE PYAR KIYA , HUM AAAP KE HAIN KAUN ? ,HUM SATH SAATH HAIN... This are EPICS..... in family oriented films..... I agree with Salman that Soorajbabu is the BESTEST WRITER DIRECTOR of Indian film industry. I AM GRATEFUL TO HAVE MET his father Rajbabu once in his office regd a script.. And he was so humble and guided me..so well.....I had felt the warmth from him.. And can say the warmth we found watching all RAJASHREE Films is from all the Barjatya family. Regd HAHK.... I had seen the movie in its first week at LIBERTY. (Spread with red carpet and lighting on the screen when songs came.... The experience was awesome might have seen at least 10_12 times in LIBERTY ITSELF.l.. & now whenever i see Soorajji's film on tv.. I watch it till it finishes.. Soorajbabu the storeyteller is a pour soul& a Pour and humble Soul like him can only write and execute HAHK and HUM SAATH SAATH HAIN. (His bestest film) nobody else can do it as he has told the story..... Soorajbabu I loved ur movie VIVAAH immensely..... And u always make me cry when I watch MPKDH. Which is also my fav film.... Have seen it umpteenth time..on television....Though people don't mention it... As ur sucseeful film But I liked it a lot..except 2 /3scenes were not needed.. HAHK is all about family n the beautiful n gracious madhuri dixit.. Every frame of the film was so beautiful.. A film which had 10plus songs and still. Not exhausting.. The most simplistic story line yet had the appeal... I have seen queues like u see in tirupati near theatres those days to get a ticket.. And the craze remained for a whole year..

Kept smiling the entire time. Watching this after Karan’s interview with Rajeev I realised that the thing that makes Anupama stand out is her personality.. the way she gives so much space to the other person that they can open themselves up and she’s just laid back but still paying attention to everything they say.. unlike Rajeev who feels like he’s hammering Karan’s head by bombarding one after the other question and at the end asked him about his kids just to end on a positive note. Its one thing to ask important or relevant questions but let the guy breathe man.

Anupama ji asked him about portraying women in cinema as if his women characters were weak! But I think HAHK is all about Madhuri and her sister, their bond, the dynamics of two families and of course the love story of Salman Madhuri. I think the heroines had strong characters. Specially Madhuri. She herself decides to sacrifice love for that baby but at the end realizes it would have been the wrong decision. Her role was equally important as the hero's.
