This garage organization storage project is a BIG ONE! I was staying at my parents and we decided to tackle the a messy garage clean out! Not only are we going to do some garage organization but we are also doing some garage cleaning and a little garage declutter before and after! What a transformation! I know your Mom and Dad were thrilled with the results. Getting everything off the floors and labeling bins made all the difference. Fun seeing the handsome men in your life! I was working in my bedroom Decluttering my night stands when the notification bell rung for garage video. Wow! I had alot of stuff in those drawers. Everything looks to great. I would recommend to keep food items stored together and not with chemicals like you did in the first cabinet.

I came all the way here from another device, searched for the video, just to tell you that!! 😳☠ Also, chemicals should not be stored around the kitchen PAPER & PLASTIC products either. They all (food, paper, plastic) absorb the noxious fumes. I can't tell you how many times in my life I've gotten take out flatware from restaurants that smells like roach spray!! Please, Store them in separate cabinets. If you are tight on space, like in an apartment, put one or both of the categories in air right bins to store in same space. Things like Windex and Comet aren't as dangerous as WD-40 and Raid. Keep poison/corrosive items separate from paper plastic & food. 😇

We have overhead storage in our garage too. I found it helpful to label some of my bins/boxes on the bottom so that I can see what's up there from below :) Great video!

Looks great! That is a LOT of stuff in that garage. Costco has GREATLY contributed to our household having a lot of stuff. 🤨 But i love that place lol! 😂

Fantastic job!! My eyes and my mind were going “full steam”! For years I have been meaning to clean AND organize my garage. I don’t have the energyI “definitely” still have the desire. At this stage of my life, I am ready to pay for this project to be done. I just don’t know where OR how to start!??! The listings I have come across just note “professional organizer”; do I check with a sophisticated handyman for this type of work???! (Like the work you did for your parents.). Any tips??? Anyway! Hi Doris! If you are looking for some help like I did for my parents a professional organizer is a great way to go, if there are large installs that are required (especially in a garage) the organizer may have a handyman they work with or can recommend someone. I actually have an organizing friend who is in san clemente and I believe services San Diego as well. Her business is "Simply Seaside Organizing", you will find her website on google. Great inspiring video ! I was laughing when I saw how many different tapes your dad has, because my dad was the same. To save shelf space, we put nails / screws onto the walls in his work area and we hung up all his rolls of tape on them. It was basic, but it worked. An easy fix for the wire shelving and the Fresca bottles that kept tipping over is Duck Easyliner. I love how you organized everything. You listed the link for the bike lift, but would you have the link for the storage bins lift ?

What’s the cost breakdown of buying a cricut machine, the vinyl, etc? I’ve always wanted one but don’t know if it would make the most sense for me to buy one if I only need them for labels here and there

The Cricut that I have with the accessories that you need to run it ends up being around $300 and then you of course need to buy materials, vinyl, transfer tape, etc. so maybe $350 before you are able to make labels. Of course there is also the learning curve of figuring out how to use it and the time involved with making the labels (they aren't quick to make!). Hopefully that helps!

How tall is your husband? I have been thinking about purchasing a bike lift, but I am worried about my extra tall husband running into the bikes and/or the bikes falling on our cars. He's about 6'1" if that helps for reference. They still LOVE the lift. I was just back at their house a couple of weeks ago and it still looks and works great!

Understood, they also take care of the shopping from my grandparents and grandma's two sisters's and their families who live in the same neighborhood so they don't have to go to stores. So it is for 4 families.
