The two bindings were for killing the king and prince (Ezran). Since they got to the king, the binding fell off. Ezran was spared and so the other binding remains.

It should come as no surprise that Claudia is the favorite child due to her talent for dark magic. Viren knows how desperate his son is to make him proud, which is why he was given the darker task. Even though Claudia is following in her father’s footsteps, she’s not at the point where he can ask her to kill her childhood friends and she’ll obey without question. She doesn’t see dark magic as evil because of how she was raised, but asking her to kill the princes would shake her trust in him, as evidenced by her reaction to his “choose the egg over your brother “ line.

The Jelly Tarts are based on Hamantaschen. Here is a recipe for you! (I copied this from a website) Ingredients 1 cup (231 grams) granulated sugar 1 1/3 cups (300 grams) margarine, room temperature 2 large eggs, room temperature 1 tablespoon water, more as needed 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 4 cups (482 grams) all-purpose flour, more as needed 1/2 cup poppyseed filling, prune (lekvar), apricot preserves, or Nutella, (your choice) In a large bowl, beat together the sugar and margarine on high speed with a hand mixer until pale and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Alternatively, use a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Add eggs and continue to mix on medium-low speed until smooth, about 30 seconds. Add the water and vanilla, and continue to mix until combined, about 30 seconds. Stir in flour, continuing to mix until the dough forms a smooth ball. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or up to overnight. Position a rack in the center of the oven and heat to 375 F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Pinch off golf ball-sized pieces of dough (about 45 grams each) and roll into balls. Lightly sprinkle with flour. Position a ball between 2 pieces of waxed paper and press into a 3-inch circle (about 1/4-inch thick). Gently peel one piece of waxed paper from the dough circle and place on the prepared baking sheet. Gently peel the remaining piece of waxed paper from the dough circle. Repeat with the remaining dough, spacing the cookies about 1-inch apart. Place about 1 teaspoon of filling of choice in the center of each dough circle. With floured fingers, pinch the dough together to form 3 corners, ensuring that the corners are well-sealed. Gently pat the folds down a bit to prevent corners from separating during baking. Bake 1 tray at a time until just starting to brown, about 15 minutes. Using a thin spatula, carefully remove the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. Recipe Variations Chocolate Hamantaschen Recipe: This is a dairy dish in the kosher tradition because the cocoa powder pastry dough is made with butter. It can be filled with prune, poppy seed, or apricot, but they taste so much better with raspberry, Nutella, white chocolate chunks, or chocolate peanut butter. Fill the hamantaschen with marzipan instead of a fruit or poppyseed filling. You can find marzipan at most grocery stores or make your own.

One binding was for Harrow. When they killed him, the binding fell off. The other binding was for Ezran. ("I'm here for the king... but I'm also here for his son, Prince Ezran." -- Rayla in 1.02, I think.) Rayla is supposed to kill him, but because she refuses, she will lose her hand. Xadia wants Ezran dead because he is the son of the king of Katolis, and the dragon prince, who is believed to be dead, is the son of the dragon king. Therefore, the deaths of Harrow and Ezran equal out in their heads. Here's the interesting thing, though: Runaan sent the shadowhawk to the queen of the dragons with only one ribbon tied to it, symbolising the death of only one of the targets. So, the dragon queen will receive this. When she receives the arrow, she'll know the mission has been deemed complete. But when she sees just the one ribbon, she'll know that only one target has been killed, not the two she ordered them to kill. This is important for later. Now, when you take all this into consideration and apply this to the fighting scene between Rayla and Runaan on the castle roof, this gives much more weight and meaning to not only the choices Runaan has made from only sending the one ribbon, but also his relationship with Rayla. Runaan wanted to kill Prince Ezran, even after he saw the egg of the dragon prince. He was willing to kill Rayla so he could complete this mission. But he didn't. He fought her, told her she was delusional, then told her he was going to kill Ezran "for justice," then as soon as Rayla leaves, he does what she was telling him: he decided not to go through with hunting Ezran down and killing him. Instead, he tied just the one ribbon and sent it to the queen, a clear message of "I will not kill this child. I would rather die than let that happen. This mission is over." What does this say about his trust in Rayla, hm? Moving on! There is an official recipe for jelly tarts. It's been published in "Callum's Spellbook," which I would definitely consider buying bc it has all sorts of cool stuff there, but I would finish s3 before buying it.

Idk if you ur stil confused or another person already explain but the bind is about the king and his son ezren the moodshadow elfs made an oath to kill them each bind represents the king and ezren so when the king dies the other bind came off signaling his death and it being shot with an arrow is being sent to the queen of dragons to inform her that the king is dead thats why the other bind on rayla is still on her its cus ezren isnt dead

It's neat that someone made a recipe for jelly tarts, but also - they are actually based on a real food as well. They're called hamantaschen and they're traditionally eaten on Purim, which is a major Jewish holiday - I've never had them but my Jewish friends tell me they're delicious
