I bought one, it seems okay overall, if you can afford it. You should check all competitors too, though, before buying. I can't say if they are better or worse, but you should compare all the features to decide what is most useful to you. Pros and Cons: Pros: 1. Its battery on smart mode does last well over an hour. 2. Floors seem clean using only the smart mode (Except edges, see Cons) 3. The tanks are pretty easy to remove and refill/empty. 4. The self-cleaning works very well. 5. Steam mode is okay (though not as good as a steam mop) 6. The app is easy to set up, although it does not have many features yet. Cons: 1. No edge cleaning, it always leaves a significant area on edges and around corners that it can never reach. 2. It cannot go under beds, or any long furniture, it only bends to a 45-degree angle. 3. Due to the large head, you cannot go under any low-profile furniture either. 4. It seems to be going through the cleaning solution very fast, I can probably clean the house (1600sq ft) 4-5 times before I need to buy a new bottle. I do use it all the time, for self-clean too, though. 5. It is very heavy, even though it propels itself forward while you use it. I keep switching hands. It is also not very easily maneuverable, like a Dyson. 6. On smart mode it does not release much water, only on steam mode, which is what was mostly shown in this video and the floors seemed so wet. I think it still does clean the floors, but for some reason it bothers me that they don't seem mopped :) 7. The jet air blast doesn't really help that much with drying the floors if you steam clean, because a lot more water is released on the floors. 8. On steam mode, the battery only lasts 15 minutes. 9. A corded steam mop does a much better job. I tested it on stains and the steam mop can remove them much faster that the v1 ultra. However, it is corded, and you do have to manually clean its pad. 10. Too pricey for what it offers. To be fair, all the good ones are pricey at this point.

Looks awesome! I just purchased the Roborock Dyad Pro coming from a corded Bissell crosswave. The thing I love about the Dyad is the edge cleaning. On that V1 you can see a good 1.5”-2” from the edge of the wall to what it can clean. That used to drive me nuts with the crosswave. If there v1 can adapt a good edge clean that would be awesome. Still looks epic with that battery life and the steam cleaning.

For example, cleaning the filter when it's all messy from sucking ketchup mayo, eggs, etc. I imagine the dirty bin is full of sticky mess and parts of the filter, too, so how easy is it to clean them?

My only complaint about any stick vacuum is the lack of hose. I’ve found that no stick vacuums get close enough to the edge of walls and cupboards etc. so I use the hose to get close to the edge of things and under tight-knit spaces like bookcases, couches, buffets etc. I prefer vacuuming over sweeping because sweeping kicks up dust and I have asthma pretty bad. So I’d like to know if this one gets it all. This review was super helpful but lacked that one detail.

It looked like this unit was always an inch or so away from the walls while the housing was right up against the wall. So does it really have a large gap between the edge of the roller housing and the total width of the roller, or am I mistaken in what I was seeing? I got my Mach 1 and was super disappointed. I kept getting a “floor cleaner liquid is low” audio prompt when I filled it up to full. My liquid container did not drain properly. Also, the unit kept pulling forward which made my arms tired out fast as I am used to a back and forth motion. Eufy said the unit is designed to only roll forward which is why it auto pulls forward. The unit does not suck up pet hair that well. In fact, my Dyson v10 was able to suck up two loads of pet hair on my carpet after I used the Mach 1 on it. Stains on my hard wood floor did not get removed either. I had to scratch the stain off with my nail. This is after I had it on steam mode and held the trigger down while hot steam was blowing down on the stain for a minute. I am returning my Mach 1 due to all the reasons mentioned above. Your review seems biased and I am shocked that your wife did not complain about her arms getting tired from using the unit as it is very heavy and her arms must be even more tired out if she did a back and forth motion.

You left out the biggest downside of this machine which is if you don't vacuum before you use it then when you go to empty the tank it is a nasty combined glob of whatever loose debris was sucked up off of your floor and the dirty water. Especially bad if you have pets or a house full of women since hair inside the dirty water/debris container is horrific to try and untangle to clean out. So I just vacuum before I use it and sure it takes longer but worth it to avoid what would be inside the container when I finish.

$699 is way too much for a start up 1st gen, no matter how good it is. It’s like a company called peach comming out with a peach watch with more features than the ultra but it’s $799. It’s a hard sell

Yeah no... you're just smearing dirty stuff all over your floor... the only clean way is to use multiple clean rags to mop small sections of your floor, so that dirty rag is never resoaked and never reused in the same cleaning session.

This is pretty sweet tech. But I much prefer a combo cordless/corded or fully corded option. Those batteries replacements are very tough on the wallet and the environment. We should not be supporting companies who are introducing human and earth destroying products. At least, give us the options as conscientious consumers When coming to market in this day and age of record-breaking temperatures at both extremes.
