@@Fwiboswhilst he is calm most of the time he definitely has extreme modes of reactions, in several ways. From his "anger" or annoyed reaction, don't mess reaction, stern, to the more common and even more extreme Huddlestorm which are things of beauty as he either falls apart in the most chaotic way possible or manages to "weather" the storm and deliver something decent.

Mike is the perfect portrayal of the parent that rarely shouts at their child because they’re the relaxed, docile parent, because if they do shout at you, you know you’ve seriously mucked up 😂😂 I wasn’t sure if it was possible for Mike to get so frustrated he ends up screaming and shouting in anger because if he was any more laidback he would be lying down 😂

I didn't like it, Jamie did a stupid prank but it was fine. Barry didn't look in the trash, because why would he, and so he threw an egg shell in. They set Mike back long enough to measure sugar (1 minute?) Mike actively sabotaged them multiple times first setting Jamie back 15 minutes, but that wasn't enough. I got really irritated in this one. Admittedly I don't like the prank thing a lot, I like the way Ben and James are during Chef v Chef battles

I'm so conflicted as to who my winner is because I can't resist mint chocolate but Barry's looked divine... I love watching the battles, and you should do a meat pie battle or a sausage roll battle.

Battle ideas: - Asian Desserts - 3-tiered (wedding?) cakes - International Breakfasts - Gourmet Popcorn - Protein Shakes - Tropical Fruit Dishes - Coconut - Birthday Cake

Nordic, Middle & South African and Eastern Europe cuisine, as well! So many dishes that everyone's not used to and tonnes of twists to add to them. A lifetime would be not enough to taste every dish in the world -- and I think that's wonderful.

I was a regular watcher back when you started this channel. Now it's been years since I've watched any of your videos, but today I've binge watched the newest ones and omg it's so fun to see both how the channel has evolved but especially how much the non-chef members have improved their cooking and baking. Like I'm watching a video of Jamie making successful macarones on his own, I'm almost shocked. Well done!

guys you can also do an ultimate pesto battle and pair it with different things like proteins and vegetables . There are thousands of types of pesto in Italy . Found it fascinating !!!

The sabotage was excessive today, and definitely excessively targeted at Mike. Personally, I liked the sound of Mike’s macarons the most. But most importantly, unlike whenever they are made on Bake Off, you actually called them macarons as opposed to macaroons which are something else completely and is my biggest Bake Off annoyance.

I'd love to see a crepe battle - combining the technique of getting a delicate, thin crepe with the fact that you can finish with either savoury or sweet components would certainly garner some interesting results :)

Jamie's character of sticking to what he loves sets him unique to others and this battle just proved what i said. Hopefully you could do an EXOTIC DISH BATTLE next like spiders, crickets, snake, and turn it into something that everyone would love despite of how bizarre these ingredients are. I know you guys can pull this off and maybe Jamie, after this battle, will switch from pork lover to snake.

In Indonesia, we have a patisserie that put all things unique in their macarons, called La Maison. They have ‘nasi uduk’ style with real anchovies in it, ‘salted popcorn’ with real popcorn on top, ‘thai tea’, ‘salted egg’, among others. Taste just like a real deal! ❤️

This makes me so glad I make macarons out of clay! It is so much easier and when they come out really pretty then they last like that forever. :) How about doing a fudge battle? I used to make 10 pounds of fudge each Christmas to bring to my job as a gift for all my coworkers. I made 2 pounds each of five different kinds. I would love to see how you can do up fudge! However if Jamie puts any meat in fudge I will hold it against him. :P *laughs* - Heidi

I was expecting Barry to make something entirely different and then insisted that it's macarons. 😅 Have you guys had the Ultimate Fusion Food Battle? It is a bit more abstract than the other ultimate battle theme, but maybe Ben and James can set a rule of what type of fusion food the normals had to make.
