I didn't really get the complication of the Cartier at 3'30" (astro-regulator). It's not just a micro-rotor integrated into the dial, apparently?

No. 2/3 of the movement's components are carried in that module.

Great report! On a side note, except for superb finishing on the last pocket, none of the watches caused any interest in me to own any of them. Underwhelming auction indeed.

Tudors are already pretty hot commodities, but will be interesting to see what this one achieves, will set the tone.

That Breguet is NOT immaculate. Why would you buy a watch with a cracked crystal ? It doesn't look very special either.

Please, somebody teach this gentleman some marketing and sales skills! “We have the first perpetual Patek, we have the first automatic Patek" is not the way to sell very unique, special, and highly valued Patek Philippe references. Neither is "We have a very nice sample of the Cartier Tank. It's turnable" an elegant way to present a beautiful, vintage, unengraved Tank Basculante in almost mint condition. And he is the head of watch department? 😮
