I Love Yu-Na very much! (I call her "Her Majesty Queen Yuna"!) SHE is more understandable and similar to me in spirit and artistry! Yuna and Adeline very accurately skated their programs! But Yuna's program was technically not very complicated. And that was her trainer's fault. Wish you all Health and Well-being!

Sotnikova had an incredible skate, one that should have earned her the bronze medal. This should have been the start of her career, an encouraging result that she could have used to motivate herself for the next Olympics. Instead, she won gold, fizzled out, and robbed a true legend the chance to go gold back to back. It's a shame, really.

Unfortunately, Kim's loss was due to poor planning on her part. Kim skated basically a perfect low-risk program, while Sotnikova performed a far more difficult program with less grace and one big mistake. But, since 2006, high-risk programs were heavily favored by the scoring system, and judges had less discretion to use a score like artistry to mitigate the scoring system's preference for difficulty.

몇년이 지나고 모든 분노와 빡침 사적인 감정을 내려놓고 다시 돌려봤다. 확실히 힘있는 스케이팅이었고 파워풀하면서도 물흐르듯 잘 진행한 편의 프로그램이었음. 그러나 클린프로그램은 아니었고 점프도 아쉬운 점이 보였으며, 관객호응유도는 우승할만한 프로그램의 요소가 아니었음. 몇번을 다시봐도 우승은아님.

She already bagged her gold in 2010 thankfully and her legend only grew from 2014 as people appreciated her performance even more due to the robbery. Sotnikova just said in an interview that her A samples tested positive for doping, but the IOC protected her and her B samples were "magically" not positive. Basically just admitted the Olympic committee and IOC helped cover up her positive doping. They literally did everything they could to drag her onto that first place podium.

Errr, that’s not what she said)) She never said IOC protected her and made the sample B (not samples) negative. But in fact, sample A was never positive in the first place, it was scratched and therefore considered compromised. So sample B was opened and she proved clean. Why Adelina called her A sample positive is now beyond understanding and she’s gotten herself in a huge scandal… but that’s on her now.

On 02.22.2022, Sotnikova 3.3 mil and Queen 9.4 mil views. The performance in figure skating ideally should be something that people can remember as art and want to see it again and again. In that regard, we know what was the most beautiful performance was in Sochi.

Marika fasola I doubt that she will ever get her second gold. The corruption is too deep. Yuna knew that herself; she said that her opinion or stance on the scandal wouldn't change the results. It's just a pity that she was treated this way at her last Olympics. It's unfathomable how Russia doesn't recognize how lucky they are to see her perform competitively for the last time. I would do anything to see her skate just once. And they were blessed with three of her performances. I wonder how much was the ISU paid to help Russia win their first "gold" in ladies figure skating.

it's got 3m less now and almost 20k dislikes XD this performance definitely didn't deserve the gold like wth, she full on stumbled. sure she did a lot of jumps but none of them were as beautiful as yuna's jumps. i hope she gets tested positive for drug use and is forced to give her gold to yuna >_>

Как раз таки невиновность Сотниковой подтвердил Родченков. Девушка невероятно глупа, делать заяления о допинге, видимо, слава Валиевой покоя не дает. Но на самом деле весь ее "допинг" - поцарапаная проба А. Вторая проба была в норме, и не показала наличия допинга. Сотникову оправдали в 2017 году, и пусть было бы очень смешно, если бы ее медаль забрали, этого не произойдет

I don’t watch much ice skating. I actually really enjoyed this performance. Felt energetic and powerful. But I do see the comparisons to Yuna, who was so sophisticated, elegant and accurate. I preferred Ms Yuna’s, but this was still rather enjoyable. That being said, I’m not sure how Yuna scored less

There are okay skaters, there are good skaters, there are great skaters, and then there are phenoms. Adelina is an okay skater at best, but Yuna Kim is undeniably and will continue to be the best skater for as long as history goes. She's a true perfectionist, she's really at another level.

@@andremolle9959 Huh lmao. She broke every single record and has all podium, unmatched. All the Ice Skating Olympians agree that she is the greatest of all time, EVEN the Russian national heroes. Don't be delusional, even yout previous gold medalists agree. Moreover, the current scoring system is different because there are Russian Controllers and the scores are ridiculously high compared to before. Nobody can compare pre-Sochi and post-Sochi international women's figure skating. It is a completely different sport now.

Kim wasn't clean and honestly She had no emotion, but she was better then adelina for sure, however adelina's spins was so great and beautiful , but yes, her jump had issues and she was overrscored , it was very obvious home advantage . also carolina and mao was better then her, but i like adelina's performance too, she was so happy and i enjoy it. Абсолютно несправедливое золото. Программа и фигуристка - такие же незапоминающиеся, как платье. Никто её не знал за два месяца до олимпиады и исчезла она моментально, даже на ЧМ не поехала.

Yuna - spoilt girl like many South Korean "bitter losers". Instead of often appearing in TV shows Yuna could work on increasing the technical level of her programme. She had a large initial disadvantage, which increased when Adelina performed three +10% elements in the second half of her programme.

Poor girl, Even after 6 yrs, Almost people do not agree about this performance was got the gold. But this girl celebrate herself the Unfair Sochi Olympics, What a shame.

And it ruined her. She knew she couldn't live up to it 'cause it wasn't earned and she never did anything off of that gold medal. And not even Russia cared, how quick were they to replace her with the likes of Tuktamysheva, Radionova and Medvedeva, and it's a shame. I've seen a couple of her performances and when she got really going, she seemed to really enjoy it.

@mish098aimer I don't know much about her financial situation, but I figure she got endorsements. I meant competitively, though, I mean, she has no major achievements outside of this medal.

It was hilarious to see Yuna still got all spotlight and interview requests despite the fact she got "silver" medal and Sot the thief left the scene angry because know one cared about her existence 😂

Salt Lake was unfair to many complainers & whiners. Too most of these types every Olympics is a tragedy. This is why most of the world has moved on blocking out the noise that is bitter people like you. Root for the skaters from your country since you have no respect for the elite skaters. Yu Na lost and the judges made a report as to why Sotnikova was better. Other than that shut up--- you nasty old Harpie. Who in the world whines about something so long ago? Calm down. It had nothing to do with your empty life.

이미 금메달을 예상 한 것처럼 연기내내 들떠서 관중한테 손 흔들고.. 투풋랜딩을 하고도 저런 행동이 나올 수 있는지 너무 의아한….

At 5:40, the female commentator said " This performance is fantastic but did not have the magic" At 8:10, the male commentator said : " Would you believe she got on the component score as well, I am not sure I agree with that" She also performed this program in different competitions prior to the Olympics but her scores were far below her scores in the Olympics. Her scores were definitely inappropriately inflated. She had mistakes (wrong edge on the lutz, wrong landings on the triple flip - double toe - double loop combination). I cant believe this performance is 5 points higher than that of Yuna Kim's flawless long program Adios Nonino. The Gold medal truly belongs to Yuna Kim. The IOC should do something about it because a lot of skating fans will lose their trust in the sports. Such a shame.

믿을수가 없다. 심판들의 시력이 엉망인듯. 김연아는 금메달을 도둑 맞았다. 이연기와 김연아 선수의 연기는 비교할수없을 정도로 수준이 다르다

Adelina is good but Kim Yuna was definitely better. It still breaks my heart that she was robbed of the gold medal.
