"My God is better than your's" That's what this has all turned into. It's no longer about helping people for the sake of what you believe, it's about forcing your religion and condemning those who do not have the same belief as them. Claiming homosexuals are going to hell, and seeking out those who differ just to mock them. Is that what life has become? Do you decide to spend it telling people that their beliefs are wrong or stupid or mock their beliefs because you don't have the same mindset? Forcing religion isn't going to bring much of anyone to your side, showing them what you believe and opening your arms and mind, that's what will. I'm not going to say who's wrong and who's right, I believe what I believe and that's all that I care about, I'm going to live this life as if each day were my last and I hope to change people's lives along the way, whether it be emotionally, religiously, or whatever, as long as I make a difference. I'm not going to shove my belief down your throat and tell you you're going to hell, or oblivion, or heaven, or you'll be reincarnated. Just live your life, as long as no one is harmed by it, go ahead.

ComaDoofWarrior Guess what, I'm a Christian too so stop acting like I'm oppressing you. I'm saying that all, ALL religions have people that are constantly trying to shove their beliefs down another one's throat. It's not right and attacking people for their belief doesn't bring them any closer to your belief. It just pushes them away. Whenever a Christian (or anyone for that matter) attacks a homosexual or the homosexual belief, Yes, I do think that is wrong and should not happen because that is doing no good. It doesn't make them heterosexual, it doesn't bring them to God, it just makes them feel attacked (because that's what's happening) and that isn't right. That IS NOT Christian. So don't go telling me that you are upset with what I said because it follows the belief that you can't attack someone who differs in belief because if you claim to be Christian but then harass people for differing, you are NOT a Christian, you are a poser looking for something to mock and hate. The bible may have said some things about homosexuality (very vague things) but it was much more clear when it said to love your neighbor. Now, let me ask you, are you loving your neighbor when you mock them for loving a man, are you loving your neighbor whenever you raise your lip in disgust and you shove your belief down their throat? Are you loving your neighbor? Because that isn't any kind of love I've ever known, so don't act like I am oppressing YOU. Because I think people are allowed to believe whatever they want as long as it isn't made in a way to oppress others. I'm not condemning you. I'm not shaming you. I'm simply stating that attacking people for your belief isn't justified. If that were the case, Nazis would have been justified as well. I'm not attacking you so stop trying to feel attacked. I've never met you. I just want people to be accepted, despite their beliefs.

ComaDoofWarrior I'm not picking and choosing what I believe. I just don't attack people for what they believe. That may be how most Christian do it today, doesn't mean that it's how Christianity is. I know what I believe. I know Christianity, just because I'm not like you and I don't want to go around, damning and condemning non-believers and homosexuals doesn't mean I don't know what my belief is. So stop trying to lecture me about what I believe, okay? I understand and I know, and I have many more things to learn, however, I know this one thing for certain. Shoving MY religion or MY beliefs down other's throats isn't the way to bring them to believe it. They have to want to believe it, or at least be interested in knowing more about it. I may not be the greatest and holiest Christian in the world, but I understand what I need to. And I don't need you, who came into my comment and reacted all hurt and attacked, to tell me that I do not know my own beliefs, okay? Leave me alone, and leave alone those who disagree with you and vice versa. Because, love thy neighbor, right? Do today's Christians still follow that rule or am I a little behind?

BigNukerNick Actually... no. Whenever I arrived here, there were a bunch of whiny pricks arguing with one another one whether or not there was a God or so on and it was endless fighting. I commented this because I want people to not fight, I hate people fighting over religion, it's a futile battle. I like it when people come together and get along, as well as they can at least. I came here to listen to a good song too. That's why I was here to begin with, I like this song, it gives me shivers down my spine, I love it, and I go down to the comments, and see the bickering between sides. That's why this comment exists.

I feel like the orchestra used in the song makes it more dramatic, especially since it breaks the pattern of the guitar into more variations (plus you can always find the acoustic version of the song)
