BEFORE YOU START: please remember each company’s cord sizes vary. If you are not using the exact cord (link below) that I am using, make sure to cut extra length on each cord the first time you make ANY pattern. Even a slightly larger cord could mean you run out before the pattern is complete. I always say, better safe than sorry!❤️
Hi everyone! After many requests, I am happy to share this tutorial for a macrame plant hanger WITHOUT the tassel! In coming up with this pattern I realized there are many ways this can be done, so I will most certainly be showing new ways in the near future, this just seemed to me like the easiest version so I wanted to share this first.
Now, I must say, I would not be comfortable putting I a HUGE\HEAVY plant, I would say it would safely hang up to 5(ish) pounds with now worries.
MEASURES: 28INCHES/71CM IN LENGTH
Another important note is that this might not be the best first macrame project for someone who has never done any knotting before, but I do have plenty of easy, absolute beginner projects right here on my channel. HERE IS EXACTLY WHAT I USED:
- 2.25in/6cm wooden ring
- 4mm, 3ply rope cut to the following lengths:
8 x 11.5 feet/350cm
8 x 11 feet/335cm
1 x 4 feet/152cm
- tape to tape up the ends of the cords so they don't unravel while I work
- the pot I used is 6 inches wide
