Periodically I read about instances similar to this in the news paper. About "caretakers" screwing elderly people and people with illnesses out of their money. Its so common that I think special legal protections need to be set up to prevent it and if it does happen there should be ENHANCEMENTS where the "caretaker" gets an even harsher sentence than someone else might get for stealing from a vulnerable person. We do NOT have enough safeguards to protect vulnerable people from being exploited by their caretakers.

This isn’t even the worst things I heard caretakers do. Of course I heard clients bad behavior too. People are actually surprised how long my caregiver and I been together since 2009
