Hello there 👋
Second video on the new v1.3 firmware upgrade, and this tutorial will focus on the "Custom font" function of the Xeno3 mobile app.
With this new function you can now load a soundfont directly via mobile and record your own lightsaber font.
Amazing work from Nexus Sabers and Darkwolf on the software evolution. The Xeno3 board is definitely capable of more than meets the eye.
This new function is now available to all XENO3 lightsabers purchased with us at www.thesaberfactory.com

Damn I really am impressed what the Xeno board can do. It’s getting close to the Proffie although the Proffie still remains supreme and definitely is still the best board out there. I do have two Xeno sabers and I really am amazed by them. It’s awesome that you can create your own soundfont!!

Thats cool so can add soundfont now easy, so wont much up my SD files then that are on there? so can add or remove them easy enough. There are places you can download sound fonts, and the zip contains lots of sound files within. Do I just let it copy the zip file to the SD card then? through the app? or unzip file and just copy straight to SD card?

How do you do your own recording it is not working and I deleted the font so now I just dont even have one

I have the issue, took out my core to back up sd card, put back in the core, now lightsaber will only turn on and off by the swtich, no gyro works, so no twist to turn on, cannot use thr button to change fonts

Could be a corrupt sd card. For instance MacOs is known to leave invisible files and folders and Xeno3 doesn't like it. If you have this type of issues on a Mac you can use Blue Harvest app on Mac to clean your SD card of any invisible files. In any other case format the card and copy the backup on it. Check invisible files if you can. For more help go the support chat on our website and provide your order number, we can provide sd backups and support.

How long does a Neopixel saber typically last on a full charge?

Usage type varies so much so between 30 to 120 minutes. On average I say 90 minutes.

maybe someone can help this app doesnt find my saber and i got no idea what to do because my phone if i search foor saber it does find it

check out the latest FIRST STEPS video series, maybe the Xeno3 video or the FAQ will give you the answer. Might the location service not active if on Android, might be that your hilt is limiting bluetooth and the core needs to be freed to connect to the phone, might be it simply needs a BT reset.

Does not work. Won't install aoundfobt to My S23 ULTRA, left for almost 2 hours and no luck. I notice when you click upload font, your shows the file when going to where it is on your phone. With Samsung click on it and won't find it.

So when clicking to browse your local files you don't get the system prompt with access to your files? Does this also happen when trying to load a single file in a font folder? Or is it that your folders don't show the zip file (then here it could be an OS limitation). Either way, let me know and I can always write a bug report and have it checked for future updates.

Using abdroid not ios using sansung s23 ultra. I can get to the zip, but seems through submenu. Download, compressed abd then shows the zip, select it, say error, and then says downloading, abd have had it sitting for 2 hours and just keeps saying loading

🤣 there’s no debating Proffie is the best board. But the day someone comes up with an easy mode for it will be blessed. Xeno is still limited to providing what Xeno can do.
