사랑해주지 말아주라.. 개인적인 우정이나 인간관계를 떠나 국가간에는 일본은 대한민국의 주적이며 언제나 대한민국을 해롭게 했던 국가다. 먼저 침공을 하지는 않겠지만 도발을 한다면 그 어떤 누구보다 일본에게 잔혹해질 자신이 있다.

Fun fact: The first insignia you see is from the White Skull Division, they were originally made from Volunteer North Koreans who had burning hatred towards North Korea and communism during the Korean war. The Skull representing their faith 'We shall fight to retake our motherland even in death'

제가 백골부대 출신인데, 백골부대가 북한 출신 지원자로 구성되어 창설됐다는 건 처음 듣는 얘긴데요. 혹시 서북청년회 말씀하시는거라면 일부는 맞기는 한데 그건 3사단의 핵심부대인 진백골 18연대가 서북청년회 지원자들로 주로 구성됐다는 것이고, 그렇다고 당시 모든 3사단이 북한출신 반공 지원자들로만 구성돼서 창설된 건 아닌걸로 압니다. 참고로 저도 18연대 제대했습니다.

@@jjangoku5788 네, (펌) 별개로, 해당 사단의 핵심부대인 18연대(진백골연대)는 3여단 창설에 맞춰 3여단 내에서 창설되기도 했으며, 자원 입대한 서북청년회 회원들이 중심이 된 부대였다. 따라서 극도의 반공 성향과 전투적 기질[3]을 자랑했다. 그리고 자신들의 철모 좌우에 "죽어 백골이 되어서라도 고향 땅을 되찾겠다."라는 의미로 백골(白骨) 마크를 그려넣었다고 한다.[4]
